Mahogany Harbour Landing

Fantastic... Calm waters, beautiful houses.. easy to unload the kayak on the pier. And best of all it is free😸

This place is awesome to get on a paddleboard , explore the rideau river a bit

This is a very good place for paddling. There many nice looking cottage along both sides of the river making the view enjoyable. There is a dock that makes easy for paddlers to load their boats but there are no parking lot. You will have to park along the streets.

So pretty and a good spot for paddle boarding. No wake area but be prepared for the occasional rule breaker

It is a nice place to relax. There is nothing much to do except if you are a swimmer and willing to swim in a 10 to 15 feet of deep river water. Otherwise there are chairs where you can sit and have a quite relaxing time. I had a relaxing time there.

This landing is a great addition to the community but, as a boater, I have a suggestion. As a Manotick resident, I know about this public dock but I also know that few boaters are aware that it is public. Most out of town boaters that I’ve spoken to have not realized that they can dock there because there is no posted sign visible from the river. A few, with smaller boats, have ended up docking at the very broken down dock (which is actually closed), nearer to the Mill and have wondered why Manotick doesn’t have a better point of entry for boaters. I would strongly suggest that you put up a sign at the Mahogany Harbour Landing to indicate that it is a public dock. There are many boaters eager to stop and visit businesses in Manotick.

I really want to visit again this place, the water is so perfect.
It doesn't have space for chairs, it is a place for who wants stay in the water.
The lake is deep, so I recommend you take your life jacket or other stuff to relax in the water .
A good place for aquatic sports.

Great spot to enjoy the great outdoors, get some exercise and go for a swim.
