Paigah tombs is one of the old historical monuments located in old Hyderabad. These are cemeteries of the Paigah family who once served Nizams of Hyderabad.

This cemetery looks pretty beautiful from the outside and also gave a bit of a creepy experience from the inside which was thrilling if you are an adrenaline junkie. Not the scary creepy experience but the spooky kind of thrill.

Since it is an old building there are few reconstructions that were going on when I visited.

Due to which we didn't have full access to the entire tomb but hoping there'll be an axis soon enough.

It is a great place if you want to spend some time clicking beautiful photos as you get an aesthetic background.

A new place to discover along with your friends or family if you haven't you haven't seen the other side Of the Hyderabad.
Very informative and emotional

Paigah Tombs, located in the Santosh Nagar area of Hyderabad, are a group of mausoleums that hold the remains of the Paigah nobility. This monument is one of the lesser-known tourist attractions in Hyderabad but is a must-visit for those interested in history, architecture, and art.

The tombs are a testimony to the exquisite craftsmanship of the Paigahs, who were known for their patronage of arts and literature. The complex consists of around 30 tombs, each unique in its design and decoration, featuring intricate carvings, ornamental motifs, and calligraphy. The tombs are built in a blend of European, Mughal, and Persian architectural styles, reflecting the cultural diversity of the Paigahs.

The tomb of Nawab Sir Khursheed Jah Bahadur, the grandson of the last Paigah Amir, is the most prominent structure in the complex. It is built in the form of a palace and features exquisite stucco work and a beautiful dome. Another noteworthy tomb is that of Asman Jah, which has a unique design with a hexagonal shape and intricate carvings.

Apart from the tombs, the complex also houses a mosque and a garden, which add to the overall serene and peaceful atmosphere of the place. The garden is a perfect spot to relax and soak in the beauty of the surrounding architecture.

Overall, Paigah Tombs offer a fascinating glimpse into the rich history and cultural heritage of Hyderabad. The meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail in the architecture and decoration of the tombs are truly impressive. If you are interested in exploring Hyderabad's lesser-known gems, then a visit to the Paigah Tombs should be on your list.
