Community Park

Great! Recently renovated Bayside Park crabbing watching boats, jet skiers and just relaxing. Good place free parking.

I am beginning to walk again, and it was nice to walk the track around the park at dusk. The kids were working on soccer practice, but we did not impact them, and they were fun to watch !

Nice park. Mostly for field play or concerts as there's a stage with the field in front. There's a large paved path encircling the field for walking/running. It could use some patch work, so be careful if you're a runner. There's plenty of benches sporadically placed all around, a decent playground when you walk in from the parking lot and there are bathrooms (I haven't used them so I can't speak to their condition). The surrounding area is a somewhat busy traffic area w stores but the park is surrounded with fencing so you don't have to worry about the kiddos running into the street.

I loved this park. I happened to go simply for a place to walk my dog. I like to visit a variety of places with her as she is a Service-Dog-In-Training. This exposes her to different situations. And it's fun for me too. There was a Boro Hall Festival going on and it was quite enjoyable. There were many different crafter's booths and food trucks with good variety. I learned I should always be prepared with cash for the food trucks, although the crafter's etc, accepted credit cards, also.There were several bands performing and a full house on the lawn in front if the stage. There were many other dogs there and I was thrilled to see that they were all well-behaved, so apparently their owners knew they could bring them to a crowded venue with other dogs. I'm not sure about available parking. I was quite lucky to find a spot immediately in the Police Station lot directly across the street. Parking was permitted and there were several handicapped spots. This was the weekend of 9/25-9/26. This weekend there is another event with bands performing on 10/2/21. The Nerds! Ember and I are going! Will you?

Nice park for the area, especially if you have younger children or dogs. The people are almost always friendly there and once in a while there is an event going on. Not a lot of wild life and only a few trees but there is a nice big open field that you can use to play on. The jungle gym is great for kids between 0 and 10 with the average age being about 4-6 that really would get the most enjoyment out of it. It can be fairly breezy and cold since there is no protection from the river so any breeze off the river and ocean will cut through you like a knife on a chilly day. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the lack of wild life. Everything there was planted and is not native to the park. Access to the sand and river beach are right there and they do provide a bathroom during the summer as well as a water fountain.

Love riding my bike through this park! It's really nice. They have a lot of events which are always really family friendly and great! Has a great playground area for a bunch of kids to play, and usually has a handful of dogs walking around so my pup is usually happy to be at the park also!

Great local park. Has a nice track to walk around as well as a well kept soccer and softball field. I have been here to walk my dogs numerous times and I have also been to vendor events here which are usually well organized. Park has plenty of clearly marked stations with dog waste bags, garbage and recycling.
