A wonderful place to access the East River. Lots of activity, especially tourists on their way to the tour boats leaving from the pier. A nice place for locals to sit and watch River activity. I wish though, the parks department paid a little better attention to the maintenance of the area.
Nice place to stop by if you want to get a different view of the bridges. The area is a bit loud but good for photos and hanging around. not much else to do though.
Key location of “Something from Tiffany's” movie
Covered outdoor stationary gym equipment with views of the East River. Subway crosses the bridge overhead, so can get a bit noisy. There isn’t usually a wait for the equipment, but the area can get busy especially when the weather is nice.
Cool little installation- though the city took forever to build it- and now I think they’re going to tear it down again.
A nice place on the waterfront of the Lower East Side of Downtown Manhattan, New York City; to relax with a great view of the East River, Bridges,🌉 & Brooklyn. #NYC 🛣🌃🌉🗽🛳⛴🛥⛵🚤🛶
