This is not the Luna restaurant from pre-pendemic days. The old Luna has large portions, great lasagna and pizza. The new place, not called Luna, portions were much smaller, not the same quality, and no pizza options

One of little Italy's best! Luna is in the heart of it all and gives a hometown feel at the same time.
Comfort Italian food with a laid back atmosphere, almost like being at Nonnas house.
Bellisimo!!

Tasty and service was great. The ambiance was dark and old.

Even though it was hours past lunch, they still offered it to us. Service was friendly and chatty.

Was able to order the lunch special which was around 17 dollars each. This was a choice of 1 appetizer and 1 main from a special menu.

For appetizers, it was really small but tasty. The ingredients were quality and fresh.

The main, ordered a chicken parmesan and the mini paella. Chicken parmesan was delicious, crispy, and cheesy. I didn't like the pasta sauce with it because it was a bit sweet. The mini paella was delicious as well. Rice had nice flavor with some seafood. Some of the seafood was really salty.

The decor had an old feeling with a Italy in it.

Was in NYC for a work trip. I was staying in Little Italy - Chinatown area. I was initially going to the place next door, but saw that they were cashless.i had just converted my Canadian cash to US, so I was outta luck. Luckily, as I was walking, a gentleman was promoting Luna Ristorante. I told them that I was looking for some Italian food & I was apparently at the right place! Brought me inside and I was seated. The server was very nice and generous. The food was spectacular!!!

The pasta sauce was very rich and flavourful. I wasn't too fond of the Sangria - perhaps it was just the fruit inside. The bread was wonderful as well, warm and toasty.

Whenever I go back to NYC, I'm definitely coming here!

Our family of six dined here on a Sunday afternoon. It was nice to find a restaurant that could easily accommodate our party without feeling like we were sitting on top of each other. Everyone in our party enjoyed our meal. My husband and I took the waiter's recommendation and tried the Petti di Pollo Serrentino and the Polllo alla Valdostana - both were tasty and the portions were large. The kids order fettucine alfredo, ravioli, spaghetti alla carbonara and farfalle con salmone and they all ate it up. The staff were very friendly. It took a little while to get the food, but we were not in a rush and enjoyed an appetizer and bread while we waited.
