It is one of a kind place in Rawalpindi where you get to learn about the history of Pakistan in general and Pak Army in particular. It is a huge facility which is asthetically decorated and very well maintained. Parking is available in abundance. Entry might get tricky sometimes for non-military personnel. This place is open only during weekdays and that too till 3pm, which in my opinion is quite absurd. Overall an interesting place to visit especially for kids to learn history.

It was a pleasant experience. I loved the operation zarb e azb section and how it displays the events followed by unfortunate APS incident. I was hoping to see some displays from the recent past about fifth generation warfare so that could be improved.

A wonderful experience to visit this place. Although it follows some weird rules of not allowing exterior photography due to security issues (I thought museums are supposed to be for photography?). Anyways a good experience and a lot to learn. The timings are from morning till 3 pm. Concerned authorities should extend the timings for a better experience.

A great place to educate yourself and especially your young ones about our military history. Authentic and well preserved artifacts and relics. Usually not very crowded and mostly open for public. They even have a nice souvenir shop with reasonable prices.

Very nominal entry fee, almost free.

Very elaborate and detailed displays. You can only browse through the area in 2-3 hours. You will need to spend more time if you want to really dig in deep into the details.

You must visit this place at least once in your lifetime.

You can even ask for a guided tour for a very very nominal tip. They might even do it for free in case they are not already booked.

Kids really loved it... It is also located right next to CSD, so you can get snacks for afterwards.

Highly recommended.
