***AVOID AVOID AVOID *** I bought a chess board in the winter (which was beautiful) but the board I was given was damaged and poeces chipped. I was given the display board and pieces which I was not made aware of at the time. When I came back to Cape town in summer I brought the fully intact and original packaged chess board and pieces but the manager refused to swap them out. I even had pictures of the broken pieces ON DISPLAY alongside the bank statement for the purchase. The manager refused to acknowledge my response to his message. I did not want a refund I just wanted non faulty pieces. This was my go to shop for gifts for friends and family but I will be spreading word to my colleagues NOT to come here.

Nice store with varieties of ideas for gifts and souvenirs from South Africa

They have lovely things but it's over priced. This shop is targeted to American and European tourists.

There are other shops that sell the same items for much lower price. Make sure to window shop before purchasing.

Staff members are rude and the tourists are even worse!! They walk you out of the way and the staff member on the till is very impatient.

Do not buy this expensive children’s tableware. Used 3 times and already has a hole. The same happened with the cup.
