Rivington Park Care Home

Sadly being a distance from my Nan we don't have a huge positive experience. We struggle to get through to her mobile and have now been told that we can have a quick call with her if the home are free to take a call. Living on the other side of the country, I'm not sure why communication is being cut off when we'd happily call my Nan frequently to give her more to look forward to each day. The home seems understaffed when we have been in person and when calling. During one phone call, we had to call an ambulance for my Nan as she was so breathless and the carer said "this happens all the time, you just don't know about it"

My mother is in this care home. Not picked as our choice. We have a job corresponding with her. Had to call ambulance our selves as an emergency as lack of trained staff on duty. Also on return of visit we had to change mum and put her to bed as no staff available . Overall experience very worrying.
