Wow, the owner mr gabriel is very diligent at ripping housing seekers in New York City. All the bad reviews here are so close to the ones on file with the authorities. I went to this guy’s office and made the mistake of paying him two hundred dollars. His business is a scam. mr gabriel and his company are worthless. You will not find a good room with him. Very convincing scammer. If you see him, run for the hills. His phony ads are all over craigslist. he sends his ripped off clients to another agency (American Plaza) @ 3834 Broadway in Washington Heights, where you need to pay another fee. do get caught up with this time waster!

wow the owner gabriel is very diligent at ripping off housing seekers in the New York City area. All the bad reviews here are so dosh gone close to the ones the state has on file for this con artist. Don't use this gabriel guy, made the mistake of paying him in cash. He is a complete scam. He and his company have no use. You will not find a good room with his company. Very sweet guy that will rip your heart out. His phony ads are all over his website. he sends his ripped off clients to an agency known as American Plaza at 3834 Broadway in Washington Heights. as soon as I got to his office, gabriel asked if I had the fee in cash. Stay as far away from this guy as possible.

If you are smart avoid this business - it's a total SCAM room finder office, and all they do (his name is gabriel) is get a registration fee of $200 or more from you straight away (you pay it online), then he refers you to another room finder agent called american plaza located in uptown manhattan.

When you go to the american plaza office (where they send you) they need another registration fee as well. of course you want the first registration fee you gave gabriel back cause he did nothing but send you to another agency but you'll find out there are no refunds cause it's just a new york city hustle number to be sure!

gabriel and his henchman who designed his website may impress a bunch of air heads that don't know what a bunch of bogus BS this company is, but it's not going to fly for anyone who didn't just crawl out from under a rock. Gabriel charges a three hundred dollar advance fee then he just sends the housing seeker to his unsavory unlicensed partner agency known as american plaza where they demand an additional two hundred dollar advance fee. I called american plaza and asked them why they allow gabriel to hoodwink room seekers in this way, and they stated "he makes a lot of money doing it, so it can't be all BAD", and they hung up the phone. Don't trust these peeps.

I came across this room finding agent on google. The agent, whose name is Gabriel, demands an advance fee in the amount of $200 (non-refundable cash fee). Once this room finder agent gets the $200 fee, it turns out all they do is refer you to another room finder agent by 160th and Broadway in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan. now once you arrive at that office, you're shocked to find out that they also demand another flat fee to register with them or they show you the door! - thank goodness I looked up American Plaza on google and it showed all the horrible reviews. I FILED A CASE in SMALL CLAIMS COURT because Gabriel REFUSED to refund the advance fee.

contacted gabriel who's an agent to get information he acted pleasant and promising they are not a scam. after the sales pitch i told him that some of the reviews indicate that he charges a fee in advance to help the housing hunter then he just refers them to another agency in uptown manhattan that charges another finder's fee before housing is found. gabriel responded by stating "there's no reason to remain on the phone with you asking these crazy questions." and he hung up the phone. Is that a tell or what? avoid at all costs.

not a qualified agent. this agent just collects an upfront fee just to send the housing seeker to another unlicensed real estate that charges another upfront fee. go figure? It's your typical New York City swindle, so don't even think about doing it. If you want to get taken advantage of just one time instead of twice, just go directly to American Plaza, 3834 Broadway (where this bird sent me), and they'll be perfectly willing to take your hard earned money. They speak limited English at American Plaza, so bring an interpreter.
