When you look through the window on a Sunday afternoon and see no one eating, it's for a reason. starter was great, then the 30 min wait for the main meal to turn up (we did ask where it was and got a short reply from the bar staff) was a sign of things. When it did turn up, on cold plates (beef cavary), my partner had to send hers back to get the food heated up. £60 bill for two persons for two courses, should make you realise there are better places in town, keep walking.......

Lovely old pub, cosy real fire. We didn't eat there, but it seemed very popular, as it got very full on both times we went in for a drink around midday and the evening session. Very central and near to shops and the cathedral.

Popped in for a bite to eat and a drink. Staff very helpful whilst I was deciding which beer to choose! My wife and I enjoyed our scampi lunch. If we're ever in Salisbury again we'll pop I again!

The atmosphere when you walk in is fun and cozy, with two wood fires at each end and beautiful exposed beams. The restaurant was in the back, and the service was phenomenal. Our party ordered a variety of dishes including traditional bangers and mash and fish and chips. We also got prawn salad, fried brie cheese, pepperoni pizza and chickpea curry with spinach and sweet potato. Everything was divine, and the cocktails were fun. It was great value for your money, highly recommended.
