Stay there during the time I was pregnant and dhs came to my room never was notified about it or anything cause I had medical stating I cannot walk up the stairs and lift heavy after a c section for 6-8 weeks they only gave me two weeks and to get back to shelter cause I needed help with the baby now I have no place ,no voucher ,nothing due to the fact they playing games with me an my health so at this point it no need to even be there no more the staff there great only two people and some of security guards are ok !!!!!

The people there are rude and mean and I had ghost experiences, never again!

This is only a 10 day hold!! What I’ve been told , been here for 4 days now everyone is very nice here, there is no worker here, if you tell them your hungry they will give you food to last for 3 days and the room is clean with clean sheets, and you get a bath room but no shower in your room, my first time in a shelter and my last god willing but the only thing Security can be a little loud in the hallway when you your trying too sleep.

It's ok clean not like others with fighting just you r on ur on honestly no help cleaners Nada no counseling

If I could give it no stars I will the staff is rude and childish and if you report them they retaliate they withhold toiletries and refuse to give people what they ask for I had to buy wipe and diapers that they're supposed to supply

How can the City of New York allow homeless shelters to be clustered so close to one another? There is another shelter located at 321 E Tremont Ave, The Bronx, NY 10457. The neighborhood is overrun by unemployed men who loiter and wander aimlessly. Some of kindhearted individuals simply down on their luck, some are mentally ill and unfortunately not receiving proper housing or care, and some are career criminals who only serve to bring more crime into what is primarily a working class family neighborhood. This sort of facility really ought to be located in a more industrial area to limit its quality of life impacts. If they are to be located into family neighborhoods, they certainly shouldn't be clustered so tightly together. Richman (Echo) Park which is immediately in between these two facilities has such an overwhelming drug problem that the City of New York installed a hypodermic needle bin. Is this fair for the children of our community?

This is just my opinion. The 1st shelter they assigned me was disgusting new jack city looking crack building with roaches and holes in the wall that I'm sure was the tunnel to mouse kingdom . I demanded to be transferred. They assigned me to webster shelter and it was definitely a upgrade from the 1st place. It's hardly a palace and my room is small BUT I have NOT seen one roach or rodent yet. To me that means everything!! Especially in the bronx
