Tropic Cocktails Bar Gozsdu

The atmosphere was bad and the server was absolutely without any enthusiasm. The mojito jug was prepared in an unsanitary manner. The barman grabbed the jug from within and when making the drink formed the straws with bare hands grabbing the ends (I cut them off just in case). The mojito itself was just sweet water. I do not recommend coming here at all.

We went on a Saturday night when they karaoke, which was great fun.

However the attitude of the bar staff was not very nice. Seeing that the bill contained the service charge, I decided not to leave additional tips. After I paid I wanted to thank them for the drinks and all of them just looked away and would ignore me, even after saying thanks twice.

Besides the security guard made a homophobic comment to my friends when seeing them sitting in each other's lap that "it's not a place like that" and that they'd have to leave if they keep doing that.

Cocktails waren nur Saft und Wasser. Wahren sehr enttäuscht. Auf Nachfrage, wurde gesagt, das genug Alkohol im Cocktail ist. Bitte sucht euch eine andere Bar. Viele Grüße aus Budapest

I knew it would be a good laugh.
The karaoke man is a good guy and loves his job. Tonight will be my 4th night in a row that I’ll be boozing in Topic Bar. Geet up

Recently visited Tropic Bar in Budapest and it was an incredible experience. The place has a great vibe, perfect for English tourists. The staff were super welcoming and had no issues communicating in English, making the visit really comfortable. What stood out was their love for Julio Iglesias - his music added a unique and enjoyable touch to the atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit spot in Budapest for a great time!

AVOID ...AVOID.....AVOID!!!! This place has to take the prize for the worst bar I've ever visited in my life!
Absolutely no alcohol in the cocktails...I could have given it to a baby! Avoid at all costs. Miserable staff. Miserable cocktails and an all round waste of time and money. The owner and staff clearly don't care for the comments and are there to just rip off tourists! Go to the Ruins bar around the corner instead...much better on every level!

One star is generous! Staff are arrogant and unfriendly to say the least, how the describe the cocktail,,,,,,it was like a watered down water, which also describes the atmosphere and service, I don't like leaving a bad review but kind of feel I have to on this occasion, avoid if you want to have a good time and go anywhere else!!!!!!
