Theatr Colwyn

Great community theatr Ive been there on 3 occasions resently and really enjoyed each one.

Same friendly,cosy,welcoming atmosphere as there was 40 years ago,it hasn't lost any of its charm.Mother Goose panto was fantastic as it is every year,already booked for this years,Pinocchio,my Grandchildren love going.

Went to see Barbie. The theatre is fab as are the volunteers the film was overrated lots of hype no content to speak of rubbish really.
But I love going to this quaint little theatre and would bend over backwards to keep it going as long as possible. Its half the price of the chains...they have the same films two or three weeks later patience is the key. Love the fresh popcorn 🍿 would like it to be pre sugared but its probably healthier.
Cafe, sweets toilets lift for less able and even booster seats for young or height challenged visitors.
The volunteers are really nice as are all the staff here and they have everything you need. I spent less than a tenner. The pantomimes are hilarious too. I must fill my volunteer form in ASAP for this asset to Colwyn Bay. Come and support it. If you need more lef room sit on an aisle or the front row. But no complaints from me give it a try. I really hope they bring back Rialto film nights for us on Wednesday evenings we miss them. Please put cartoons on before the films too if possible doubt if you get a say though.

Gorgeous old venue, limited access for people with disabilities especially if they're performing. Some staff friendlier than others. Beautiful well kept stage.
