La Taverne Brugeoise

Ordered cherry chouffe on draft. Thought at the time it was watered down as I have drank this many times before. Sure enough, the next day we had the correct version on draft and it tasted completely different. I believe they used another (weaker) beer and added some cherry syrup to it.

Never will I go back to this place, we other a Duvel 666, very expensive for €7 a glass. We're normally only cost €4,30. Then we ordered our food, we also wanted to order some appetizers, but because we asked for the food first and then the appetizers and not the other way, we weren't aloud to have any appetizers. So even when we wanted to place the total order at one time. We were not aloud to have any appetizers. So out of frustration and the behavior of the waiter and manager, we cancelled the entire order. We just finished the expensive beer. When we wanted to pay for the beer, we still saw that the food order was on the bill. So, after a long discussion, we just paid for the beer. But it was really hard to get a receipt that we paid. The last thing we want, is that they say we didn't pay our bill. So, eventually we received our receipt. But never or never again, will I set a foot in this place. If I want to be cheated and lied to, then I will play the lottery.

Too expensive for the food we have. Steak is too small and fries were normal. There is no difference between 17 euros and 29 euros steak with additional sauce.

Really bad experience. Food was not worth the price. Does not look anything like the pictures shown. The fish fillet that came with the fish and chips was processed and similar to a fish finger. The only good part was that they replaced the fish fillet with a salmon meal free of charge. Wouldn't recommend this place at all. They also charged 1€ for a small sachet of tomato sauce because no sauce came with the chips

A lovely location and a fine sandwich and beer. The staff was welcoming but not too attentive. People.choose this restaurant for the view and location, not the food. It's a good place for a beer but not the full menu.

We took the famous ribs, and they were super tasty.
Accompanied with great beer as recommended by the staff, and pleasant rosè wine.
Very friendly personnel.

This restaurant was cheating me. Bill for 48EUR but not accept card we don’t any cash at 11pm.They asked 55 GBP. It supposed to only 44GBP.
