Ontario Northland - North Bay Bus Station

Usually good service. However this time, I booked my bus ticket a day in advance only for them to call and cancel my bus the day of and leave me a voice-mail saying they can get me on a different bus if I make it to the station within 15 minutes of receiving the voice-mail or they can't get me to my destination for the day I booked. If they have cancelations then they should have back up busses available to book or contingences in place to get people where there going for the days that people bought the tickets for. Would have gave 1 star instead of 2 but the representative that refunded my ticket was polite.

It's a nice clean comfortable place that is near major commercial companies and also has free wifi.

Clean, safe, lots of seating, good service. Bus leaves on time. The drivers are generally great.

What is there to say about a bus terminal?

I've always liked northland more than other carriers.

The staff are good and polite, but the manager is a bit of a goof. He stormed into the washroom demanding ID. Was I supposed to register at the desk first? Does everyone have to do that, or just guys like me with long hair and a leather jacket? I was polite, as I often am in these situations. When I went to discuss something else and he was nothing but rude and argumentative. I was entitled to a refund and every time I seemed to be "talking back", as he put it, he threatened not to give it to me. Later, both the junior staff approached me alone and apologized, telling me I was in the right. Don't have any trouble at this station.

It tends to be a quiet place to rest between bus transfers. Nice and close to the mall so you could get a drink or something if you need it. Occasionally a train will go by, which I like to see. There isn't much to do there, though.

A big clean friendly safe feeling environment. Helpful staff. And LOCKERS ! Perfect for waiting for the bus, take a few minutes to visit the Northgate mall food court located at the entrance closest to this beautiful station. If you're lucky enough you may see a train pass by!

Employees were all great very helpful and chearfull sofar great experience. Recommend to anyone travelling out of Ontario by bus. The one at the desk has been very understanding I think is the word when it comes to issues with travelers. I would give another star just for that.
