One of the few Shiv Temples in Konark. Definitely worth visiting on Shivratri. On the basis of the old portions of walls, which resembles similarity with wall carvings of the Sun Temple, it could be believed that this temple originally must be around 700 years old. However, we can’t say if it cant be older than that. One can find peaceful environment here as this is not near the crowded tourist places. This temple is around 2 Kms from Konark Sun Temple and around 1.8Kms from JNV Puri.

Also famous sivatemple

Its the one of the oldest mythologically historic Temple of Lord Siva. Its situated inside the village "Madhipur", Konark NAC, Puri Dist, Odisha. At there you can feel the fresh atmosphere. The Prasad of this temple is quite testy.
