Liverpool Palace Cafe

Called in while my son was in The Royal hospital. Asked for the small breakfast but no mushrooms or tomatoes. The owner was very pleasant but after he served my coffee (I did ask for a latte but an ordinary coffee came) he carried on chatting with a bloke sat at a table. Then he went off to the kitchen. A few minutes later my breakfast came. It looked as though most of it had been deep fried. It came with mushrooms which I didn’t want, no baked beans. The egg made me heave, dirty brown white and a broken yolk undercooked centre floating in the white albumen. Bacon was a crisp and the sausage cut in half and deep fried. The toast came just buttered in the middle. Would never eat there again. I took pictures but can’t post them on here. Apart from the bloke sat at a table I was the only customer.

Do a brilliant breakfast - the large is amazing. It will do you 'til supper 👍🙂

Been twice a for a weekend trip good English breakfast on both occasions

Best toasted bacon and cheese sandwich I have ever had. I can't try anything else on the menu, as I always just default to that.

Not had a pizza cooked nicer than this one yet.

The chef is superb and friendly, I can only assume the pizza is made with the freshest ingredients as it always tastes fresh compared to other places in liverpool in which it takes like food has been left out for days and reheated.

Would highly recommend to anyone in the area
