Visiting the Phoenix area and stumbled across Practical Art. Really nice selection of local art, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Recommended visiting if you're looking for a unique piece of art for your home or a gift!

Popped into this shop the other day after having coffee next door and I’m soooo glad I did. The amount of gifts made by local artists is overwhelming, but in the best way possible! I found a set of cute plates that I wanted to purchase and Karen gave me info on having them shipped to my house. They arrived in purrfect condition just a few days later, but what I appreciated the most was the nice email I received from Karen that had my shipping info. Would recommend shopping here and will def be back to visit.

Seems like a nice place, never actually been inside. They're always closed even when they say they'll be open. This day that I went there they were supposed to be open, but weren't. I'd call first since this happens regularly. As an artist I'm interested to see what they have to offer inside. Great location! One day I'll make it when the doors are unlocked :))

I have been going here since I moved to Arizona 3 years ago. The service is always excellent and staff is very friendly. I love the variety of art. It's a great place to buy gifts or to get some unique pieces for yourself. The art club is so much fun and you get unique pieces. I will recommend this shop to everyone. It's a great place for local art.

There is a reason this shop has lasted so long in a town where retail seems to come and go quickly. Wonderful owner and staff. Beautiful, locally made work that is in fact, quite practical for use in your home. (Great place to bring someone who loves ceramics.) This shop just feels authentic, and is a true representation of art in Phoenix.
