Fascinating insight into electrical generation, distribution and how much technology is there to make that possible. Details Japan's high tech journey into making electricity available to all. Most world leaders should come. Prepare for the age of electrification.

A good place for kids to have knowledgeable about energy.

Probably more for Japanese kids but it's quite nice and worth the visit even if you don't speak or read Japanese. It's got 4 levels with a lot of interactive stations. Our kids had a blast even though they don't read or speak Japanese. Highly recommended for younger kids.

Great place for children! Very cute place, very interesting and informative. My only critique is there could be more information in English. Museum is 3 stories and free!

Mainly geared for Japanese children but we checked it all out and it is worth a visit. They had good displays and plenty of interactive items. Again, google translate was working for us to decipher the tricky items of translation.

The place kept my 6 year old boy and 3 year old girl busy for 2 hours, with lots of buttons and knobs to play around. The models are very well designed and built. While 99 percent of the descriptions are in Japanese, parents who are interested in science and technology should be able to explain a lot to your kids. I would definitely consider for a revisit if we visit Nagoya next time.

The museum is mainly made for kids. A lot of interactive activities and tools, very well made and interesting... but all for kids. If you are only a group of adults, you can skip it. Except the floors map, all the rest is in Japanese only, so the interest is limited for adult foreigners.
