Fortune Cookie V Chinese Restaurant

I got the same hot pepper lunch chicken and shrimp and they must of read my review about the mushrooms because they gave me way more mushrooms than meat this time. It was about 80% mushrooms and 20% meat which I was not happy about . I’ve knocked a star off because I feel cheated but I will give them another shot.

I had the lunch chicken and shrimp with hot pepper and was pleasantly suprised with the amount of food ! The chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly and the mushrooms made me feel like I was being healthy. I will say the fried rice isn’t really fried and doesn’t have any onion or egg in it which is my favorite part of fried rice. However the large potions make up for this! I also had the crab rangoon which tbh was on the sweeter side than my liking but still was pretty good. I would come back for sure!

We love Fortune Cookie. This is a delivery or takeout place. There are a few cafeteria style tables and chairs.

We love the food. It's a little pricey for dinner but the food is excellent. I do miss their lettuce wraps which they took off the menu.

They are great with special requests. The fried rice especially is wonderful. I enjoy their cashew chicken and my mother-in-law adored their soup and egg rolls.

This definitely a place to go if you like takeout Chinese. It's a little pricey but you get a lot of food for each dish. The lunch specials are really reasonable.

I ordered wings and beef fried rice and I must say the food was extremely nasty . The rice itself was white and not really fried and although it was a lot of beef the beef was under cooked and very rubbery. The chicken wings were ok but the batter you could literally taste the egg they dipped them in . The meal over all was not good and it made me sick. I did not finish eating it because honestly I couldn’t . This was by far the worst Chinese food I had ever had. I will NEVER EVER go back.

This is the only place I trust enough to get Singapore Mei Fun and Wings with any kind of Fried Rice. Not much a fan of the firecracker shrimp ( more onions than shrimp and the onion flavor is too strong for me) and Spicy beef (more sweet than spicy).

The food looks good. However, each piece of meat is very hit or miss. Some of it was overly tough and chewy others were good. But most of our two orders of sesame chicken were very tough. My wife couldn't finish her's. We will not be going back.

There's nothing special about the rice.
Crab Rangoons didn't seem to have crab in them. Or if they did it was a very very small amount.

I'd rather drive across town to get Fortune Garden.

Just moved to university area and this was the only place remotely close that had decent reviews for Chinese food. That said it was not good. The sauce and chicken pieces are low quality. This is mall quality chinese food at best.will not be back.

I had to change my review from a four to a one. Why? Worms and cocoons! I know every place has an off day but this is unacceptable. Bad day or not if you are not properly cleaning your vegetables what else aren't you properly cleaning.
