The course is well maintained and consists of two 18 hole courses... Lakes is the more difficult course that requires skill to stay dry and out of the ponds.

Highlands is recommended for those who like it less challenging if you can get on that course.

Greens were well maintained and fast despite heavy rains the past few days. The course drains out quickly. 90 degree rule was in play.

This was the longest it's taken us to play the round because of the holiday crowd..

Usually it's a 4 hour round with no waiting.

The course is always a little windy even in the hot summer months. The views of downtown and Med center are spectacular from the hills and dunes of this course.

Oil wells can be seen working on the course so it's really a great course to play.

The pro shop staff is friendly and the grill has good food at a reasonable price.

Altogether a great place to play without driving far from downtown Houston.

Great course! Staff are professional & friendly. I've been here several times over the years while handling clients' corporate events. We've always had a great experience with this facility.

I’m not much of a golfer, In fact, I’m not a golfer. This is my second time at this facility and I enjoyed it even more than the first. Great staff, good views of downtown Houston but still in a peaceful atmosphere.

Been playing here for years and the staff had always been friendly and welcoming. This was not the case on Sat 10/14 as the both the pro shop guy and the highlands starter were rude and unreasonable. I had made a tee time for Sunday morning through the Wildcat website and prepaid, I then called Friday to change it to Saturday at 3pm for which I should have been entitled to a refund of the difference in rates (I was not cancelling within 24 hours of the original tee time), then when I showed up on Saturday asked to tee off earlier since a tee time was available and no one showed up. The starter had me waiting at the tee for 20 minutes where 2 tee times were completely empty, plus just as I arrived a couple was teeing off and I asked if I could join them, the starter said the couple asked to "play by themselves", later when I caught up to the couple I asked and they said he was lying.
The whole experience was unnecessary and could have handled properly with the right attitude, these people need to be taught how to handle customers, especially ones paying $100+ to play a round.

Great pro shop & bar/grill. The Lakes course was in excellent shape. Really enjoyed the layout and look forward to being able to go back and play once it cools off. Due to the heat, we were only able to finish 9 holes.

Super nice course, putting greens were fluffy from all the rain but okay. Will be going back to play!

Course was in decent shape for the start of the year. Tee boxes were in pretty rough shape, but I was pleased with the greens. Texas soil hits a little different, so that takes getting used to.
If you are looking for a fun and unique layout, this is a great place. So much water, not a surprise they call it the “Lakes” course. If you are new to golf, I would not suggest this as you may lose a case of balls on the front 9 alone. Challenging to play and fun to be challenged.
Staff is great. When booking our tee time, told the staff we were coming in from Utah. When we arrived, I had a “Utah” putter cover. That is kind of service you get at Wildcat.
My favorite golf courses. Both are spacious , challenging, and beautiful. I worked here back in 2007 and loved the staff then. Now I take my clients and family here, they also love it. Great customer service, very clean range, and awesome food.
