Ha ha, it's a sidewalk placed near a creek and is also in a flood zone. I do like it, although I find housing challenged folks do set up tents there occasionally, though I find them to be kind and considerate. The scenery is nice though some trash clean up could improve it all.

This could be a lively trail system if you didn't run into someone sleeping on under the bridge every 5 minutes. Mind you no one bothered us. There was never any solicitation, but this is the trail and park of another era. It didn't become what it was intended to be.
The project team thought they had it figured out but they slacked off on a few feet here and there, where the trail just dissapears. Was it too expensive to add a few more feet of concrete?
The creek system is a trash dam, where the city's finest toss their "not mine" belongings into the wind.

Nice place to walk around - quiet, almost nobody else is here. Just be ready to meet homeless people - they are nice and friendly, but just be ready and careful.

I went for a walk on an early Monday morning. It had just rained there was no one at the park. You can go down the stairs and walk along the river however, just know that you may encounter some homeless people sleeping under the bridge so just be ready for that, I feel that this place need to be covered with cameras for peoples protection.

Very beautiful park. Nice cool shade trees. I like the outdoors but Texas heat, one can barely get out to enjoy the city or it’s nature scene. Walking along this park, the shade trees offer much cooler temps or so it seems. There a little brook that runs alongside. The sounds of the running water as it cascades along is peaceful.

Great trail to take, if you want to get away from the crowds on the Katy Trail. Some areas under the bridges were flooded, but easy to navigate around.

Best urban trail in Dallas I've seen so far. Decently long, lots of shade and we'll planned pathways. 7-11 very close for drinks and bathrooms.
