Excellent place to walk your dog, have a picnic, play Frisbee, walk the beach, bike around. Spacious with some shade and some sun. Definitely a great place to take your takeout and enjoy the sunshine. Jazz Festival is hosted here in the Spring.

Unique park beneath the St. Johns bridge. Grassy areas for dogs to run and explore. Nice paved walkways with scattered benches and picnic tables. Located alongside the Willamette River with a boat launch adjacent to it. Occidental Brewery is nearby and has an excellent German restaurant called Urban German.

This park is indeed a hidden gem in Northern Portland. The park features many walking trails, outstanding views overlooking the river, and a bridge. There is a public restroom and a huge parking lot. Love coming here

Instagramers will be saddened as they are working on a few on the bridge supports, and it ruins the signature view. The bass/sound coming from the road above is loud and a little unsettling. Park is beautifully planted with flowers. Parking was easy underneath the bridge. A lot of street parking being used by RVs.

Cathedral Park is a hidden gem in the heart of Portland. Nestled under the stunning St. Johns Bridge, this park is a true oasis of tranquility. The iconic Gothic arches of the bridge add a unique charm to the park's landscape. The lush greenery, river views, and the gentle sound of the Willamette River create a peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for a leisurely stroll, a picnic, or simply unwinding.

The park's historical significance, with remnants of the old Portland St. Johns Railway Pier, adds an intriguing layer to its character. It's also a fantastic spot for photographers, offering picturesque vistas at any time of day.

Whether you're a local looking for a serene escape or a visitor exploring Portland's beauty, Cathedral Park is a must-visit destination. It effortlessly blends natural beauty with architectural marvels, making it a peaceful retreat for all to enjoy.

Wonderfully beautiful park. Great walking trails and grassy fields. Lovely place to take beautiful pictures, have a picnic or go for a jog. Being under the bridge is just magical.

Although it was amazing to visit the park here, riding our bikes across this bridge was a bit scary. The motorists are driving very quickly on the bridge and there is no bike lane. I would recommend visiting the park and biking back into town as opposed to across the bridge. If you visit Portland, this is a great spot to have a walk or take a picnic.
