Don’t ever go!!!! (Please send Gordon Ramsey)
We wish we were warned or read the reviews in advance!
The owner was very unfriendly to the staff, which clearly had an affect on them and their service.
The food was disrespectful to the Italian kitchen(!, see the pictures).
Three cannelloni (€9,50) of which the inside was extremely cold and the outside extremely hot. It tasted like frozen supermarket warm-up lassange. Also, the inside seemed to be sifting. The price quality rate was absurd.
Pizza Salami (€9) had a very thin bottom and crust. Tasted like it was pre-made, frozen and heated when ordered. Please look at the picture and see for yourself.
melanzane alla parmigiana (€12) was very oily and seemed from a can or microwaved. The eggplant was very soft and didn’t have any texture. Definitely pre-made or canned. Again, please look at the picture.
The vino a la casa wasn’t very tasteful and the wine glasses smelled very bad from the inside. We left it at the table.
Overall a waste of our money.

Very very poor Italian food, seemed like frosen pizza of poor quality (bought in a supermarked) that had been in the oven for a couple of minutes.
Expect 20 euro on top of Bill just for sitting at the table? (with nothing else but sitting at the table) and water you buy yourself!
My family and I Will nerver rat here again! Waist of good money, do your selv a favor and find yourselves a proper Italian restaurant.

ATTENTION! THIS RESTAURANT IS NOW CALLED „FLAMINGO“ DO NOT FALL FOR THE REBRANDING, THE FOOD IS STILL HORRIBLE!
The worst pizza I have ever tasted! Basically only a large, burned cracker with cheap tomato sauce and barely any mozzarella at all. A disgraceful shame for Italy. The bill was hand written on a piece of paper apparently ripped out of a student college block and had extra fees added to it that we had not been informed about before choosing our food. Drinks cost a fortune, stay away from this tourist trap at all costs!

Flat coke, tasted like fake coca cola(it came in a glass). We told them it tasted strange. They said, that they tasted it and that there is nothing wrong with it. I received it in the same glass(how did they tasted it(????)).
Than we had to paid 9 euro’s for a espresso and a flat coke…
The inside doesn’t look clean at all and the toilet doesn’t even have a ‘seat’.

Ordered 2 soft drinks and they were flat (no fizz),
Lasagne was microwaved and awful, bowl of chips were limp and the pizza was a disgrace to Italy... swimming in grease. We did not eat a thing and asked for them to be removed from the bill. The cook/manager came out and told us he has no issues with his food and only we complain. We had to pay in full. Paid up and now reading the reviews it seems we got the usual dire service

Before we had even ordered we had racked up a bill of 4 euros cover plus 5+ euros for eating outside. I ordered a large beer which was not large by any stretch of the imagination and even the small glass it was served in was not full. My wife's drink didn't arrive at all so she had to ask again for a small beer. We ordered 4 main courses with a few sides but only 3 mains were served... I eventually got mine (with undercooked spaghetti) after the the rest of my family had finished eating. Didn't want to stay for dessert after this service so asked for the bill... This was wrong as we had been charged for the first small beer that didn't arrive.
The food was ok but expensive and the service was too slow. This was my first experience of Lucca and I'm sure there must be much better places to eat. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and spoke good English.
