Manchester Lakes Apartment Homes

I lived in Manchester Lakes from 03/2022-09/2023. The price isn’t bad. But you get what you pay for. Nothing ever broke in my apartment. The fire alarm randomly goes off sometimes. They have roaches but my unit didn’t have problems because I kept my space clean. THEY DO HAVE BEDBUGS!!! They will treat your unit if you complain. But they come back because they only treat those who complain. My neighbor was elderly and I’m sure never complained so bedbugs kept coming back over and over again. It got to the point where I would see them in the middle of the day. Definitely an infestation. I was in building 1 one the first floor. I know one of the upper floors had a roach infestation. Leasing office staff comes off as sweet but were very condescending. While I was living there, they went through at least 4 property managers. So they may have another person.

Don't believe the ratings. I left the apartment and it’s been 4 months and still have not received my deposit refund. The manager is useless, keeps telling me she can’t call corporate (when I know it’s a lie) who doesn’t know the number of their corporate office? Just because I am old, thinks I am dumb. She keeps telling me the check is in the mail when I ask for proof (Tracking) she keep telling me she is waiting for it. I am on a government monthly income, and this has created a hardship for my family and me. She has not soul.

I've had a wonderful experience living at Manchester Lakes Apartments, much thanks to the exceptional management, community environment, and the friendly nature of everyone here. Orissa, the manager, deserves a special shoutout for her outstanding work in maintaining swift and effective responses to maintenance requests, ensuring the apartments and surroundings are always clean, and fostering a warm, understanding relationship between tenants and landlords. Her professionalism truly stands out. Moreover, the laborers, staff, and neighbors here are all good and friendly, making us feel almost like family. The community events have brought a new and enjoyable aspect to our living experience, creating a sense of belonging and home. It's rare to find a place that feels this welcoming and well-managed, where both the management and the community contribute to a positive living environment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place that feels like home!

Manchester lakes Apartments are for seniors 50 and up. first off when i get in my 50s or 60s i will not be classified.as a senior or an elderly person, i don't see anywhere in the bible where the word senior and elderly is mentioned. And i will not live by such words, they made it clear that Manchester is for people that just don't have a life. all they do is come out for air and live old for the rest of their life they even called it a facility. that is just a very miserable way to live how can people live in a place like that.im going to live where i can always enjoy my life by dating and dancing and mingling, age is a number and i will not just stop living all because of a number. the word senior and elderly is from the pits of hell. don't fall for it ,, we are all people, and w e have names. and its not elderly and seniors ...so sad also fifties and sixties are not old ..its mid age. don't move in this place. its discriminating against people age no one under 50 is allow. that is not right...

They are liars. They chagre you around 400 dollar application fee. It's super high. And never update. Also lied to you. Waste your one month time. Until last step. They told you. Their apartment already full. Can not rent to you. And They won't give you money back. We need our money back. For sure. But They run away. And also I couldn't believe I was being racially discriminated against in such a great country as America. This is obviously something that some uneducated people do. We still don't know if the hundreds of dollars in application fees will be refunded. Because the management team at this apartment is terrible, and we're pretty sure they are racist. They are full of lies, discrimination and disrespect. We have submitted the application for a month and will never tell you what materials are required, nor will there be any updates. And when they call, they never let you speak. And they're talking about applicants behind their backs. They threatened us directly on the phone, telling us not to rent their apartment because of how popular it was. And they were particularly disrespectful to the applicants, especially Cecilia Young, who was in charge of the reception. She's definitely racist. We've never seen such terrible apartment workers. I told our story to the people around us, and everyone told us to take up the arms of the law and defend our rights. They wasted a month of our time, we went to the apartment three times, submitted different materials. Because they don't know the procedures. It's a lie every time. Finally we submitted all the information and told us there was no problem. Finally, because of the personal racial discrimination of the staff, they informed us that they could not rent it to us! The reason was that too many people applied. Because not only did she threaten us once, not to rent it to us. Because you can't let her do her homework. her good reviews are given by her friends. This woman has really wasted our time and cheated us of our money. And he treated us with a terrible disrespect. She acted as if the apartment was her personal property. She can walk all over the applicants, all over them! We were greatly disrespected and seriously suspected that this woman was playing games and deceiving us. We'll let everyone around us know how bad the management team at this apartment is, especially the racist one.

Thanks everyone for the nice reviews. I am no longer working here because of people with 2 faces that talk about their workers behind their backs. This job points the finger at others to make themselves look good. This was the worst place to work! They’re not organized at all!!! They promise you money that you will never get and change rules and regulations at any time. I am pretty sure I will never get the $250 from people that moved in because of me. I played dumb like I did not know what was happening behind my back all the way to the day I came and got my belongings. Thank goodness I never left my job for this place. Stay away from this place it is full of roaches and bed bugs. Gotta you😁
