The CENAC constitutes the largest cultural complex in the country and is located in what were the facilities of the National Liquor Factory. It is one of the oldest buildings in the capital. What a find! The more you explore the more fun things you discover. If you like art and manufacturing and gardens you can have a great afternoon wandering around. Don't forget to scan the QR codes on the signs for an audio guide.
A nice hour spent at CENAC. The museum exhibit was "Sin Pena, con Gloria." A interesting walk through the grounds of the old liquor factory.

We went to a local fair. It was ok, pretty nice to buy local products but the organization was messy. Besides that, this llace is great for cultural presentations
Nice little modern art museum showing some entertaining and provocative pieces done by Central American artists. The entrance is only US$ 3.00 so it won't break the bank.
This is an amazing place with small galleries and Costa Rican style facilities. They have also a museum, a big theater and beautiful gardens with the old liquor manufacturing facility.
Several theatres and rehearsal rooms are located within this complex.
