Great place to go for a walk or run, various routes and 2 access point with parking. Ideal area just to go for some quiet time. Gravel paths for majority of the walk through the forest. Takes in a river with stone bridge, and a walk along the lake. Perfect for families.
Stunning views of the lake and lots of trails to choose from. Dotted along the trails are numerous benches with stunning views. Cannot fault it.
Beautiful woodlands with slow shallow river, ideal for a cool dip on a hot day! I walked for around 10k here and still had not explored all. Highly recommend. Follow my insta for more photos and videos of the beautiful places I visit. @ramblinghawk
We missed the place we left our car 🤭😂😂😂 There was no sign how to walk there - at small forest entrance. Everything about main entrance and big car park only. It is such a mistake. But at all I am in love with this forest park 🥰

Piece of heaven. Lovely place to walk for fresh air and senerity. Plenty of parking around the woodlands and area. Close to the town for additional facilities.
This is another entrance to deerpark, but with very very limited car parking spots available, max of 5 cars only. The entrance lacks any signboards and information boards. Would have been nice, if we had the exact same information board as the other entrance. For the 1st timers, I would suggest to use the other entrance few kms away, as they have lots of details at the starting point.
What a beautiful gem of a forest we found. Definitely worth a lovely family walk and we can't wait to go back 🌿
