I decided to add some dishes to Friday night dinner from Azura TLV to save some work and time. I took sofrito (both beef and chicken), musaka and mafrum. Everything was very tasty, especially the beef sofrito.

Probably one of the best restaurants in Israel to eat a traditional Israeli food.
The Sufrito, Hummus with beef (and anything else) is very recommended

Delicious ! But expensive for what it is.
Seriously, delicious home cooking style. Wonderful flavors from long cooking and braising without relying on too much salt.
But the prices are not aligned.

I’ve been in Israel long enough to manage my expectations of revering nice service but for the cost, this place is lacking. Seriously, one single pita for two entrees and two adults? No salatim with main courses ? No water refills? Had to chase down the server for the check and then wait.

Chef quality food, chef restaurant prices without the niceties.

But again, delicious food. Maybe better than the Jerusalem location. Yum !

The origanal azura is located in Jerusalem, in the Machne Yehuda market.. The tlv branch opened more than 7 years ago.. And it's an institution too. The big pots with flavor rich dishes every day freshly prepared are inviting you to dive into the culinary journey of Eastern oriental kitchen. Make sure to eat the sofrito, but also the humus is a delicatesse, as well as the various soups. The table opens with olives and cucumbers and pita for free. Enjoy your meal

MY RECOMMENDATION would be to arrive at ir before 12 since they sell out of the popular dishes early in the day.

For TLV this restaurant is reasonably priced and portions are fair. The Kubbeh Soup is full of vegetables and has the perfect combination of sweet and sour flavors. The tahini is excellent and the rice was fluffy and well seasoned.

Sharing is a must at Azura since the flavor of the meals can be a bit repetitive and it’s best to try several dishes. The staff is friendly and the seating area is comfortable, even in the summer since they have great fans in their outdoor seating.

This is absolutely my new favourite restaurant in Tel Aviv!!!
When you walk in you’ll see a long line of huge pots with colourful delicious slow cooked dishes, some cooking overnight.
We tried the Kubbeh Soup and the Chicken Rice Pilaf. Both were absolutely incredible! Every bite better then the last. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of their menu!
Staff was very friendly and accommodating to us English speakers, and gave us a tour of each colourful menu item stewing in an array of huge pots.
The Kubbeh dumplings were huge and so soft and doughy And delicious! The chicken and rice was unbelievably soft and moist in a wildly complex blend of spices and flavours.
I’ve travelled the world eating delicious food and this is a new contender for top 5 favourite meal!
Eat here. Go. Now. Yallah. Trust me!

Common tasty and cozy restaurant. I like it very much. A bit noisy (near construction site) but after a while you wouldn't notice. It has great atmosphere. I ordered hummus, beef and green beans. It was a great dish. The service is very good.
