Best Restaurants in Israel

Business lunch in a group of seven. Shishbarak (the flagship of the menu) was really very good: Cheese filled tortellini in a wonderful sauce of yogurt. I also liked the Fish kebab in a well spiced tomato sauce. My table neighbors were not all as happy with there dishes.
The service was excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant.

Hello, my insta account is: @manalbwehbeh . Today we went to Amore Mio ., one of the most wonderful places I have been to!! The waiters are polit & patient, clean and fast by servicing.. enjoy it alot!

Food was very good and staff went out of their way to make us a table when they were already full.

A nice place with good service. I really liked my pasta bolognese but others with me enjoyed theirs less - hence the 3 stars. I can confirm that the pasta was good and firm and that is an important hurdle for me.

I went there to break the rule of ( Jaffa = seafood ) . A nice place that is too close the port from which you can sit and watch people , boats , waves and sunset in a peace of mind .
The guy who was serving me is an amazing & helpful one .

-Portobello mushrooms with cheese and white sauce , mixes with green herbs and it took 10/10 !!! Ammmmazing taste !

- asked also for fried chrimps and chicken steaks that were ao yummy but my family ate them before taking a pic 🤪

Middle eastern and Turkish cuisine with the great atmosphere of the market. Great food for a cocktail bar, perhaps a bit missing if you are looking for a full meal if you don’t like fish - it will be hard to find a significant entrée. But otherwise the food was yummy, service was fast and the place was fun!

Very pricy and the chefs seem to rely on slat and lemon way too much. Everything was very salty and sour ish. I could not taste anything from the original raw materials. And they claim to be authentic Italian but I never had anything like that when traveled to Italy multiple times. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Been there too many times ;-) it’s a great place for dinner or lunch, the service is perfect, the food is excellent, nice wine list and great atmosphere. Ohh and leave room for dessert, the tiramisu is one of the best i ever tasted.

Went in for a business lunch. Food was well made, tasty and well executed. I got a ceviche and another fish dish and both were lovely. Decent wine list and good espresso to finish. We spent about $60 per person before tip.

Very good place for families. Rich menu allows to find a meal for any person. We took a beef, and seafood. Seafood is great and not ordinar. Beef was tasty and good done. Salads are fresh and tasty.
Service was very good too.

Close your eyes and put your finger on the menu, and you will have a dish that will delight your epicurean senses! On a hot day, make sure to quench your thirst with a lemonade ouzo slush or two or three or more! Enjoy, you won't regret the experience.

Jaffa is a nice neighborhood and this restaurant is fitting perfectly the atmosphere around. Relaxed, chill and the food plus the service were perfect! Did not try the cocktail but that’s a good reason to come back then!

An upgraded version of "The old man and the sea" restaurant located nearby. Almost all dishes are equal. Interesting design inside. The music effectively divides the dining groups and does not interfere talking.
Main servings are not that big, just enough for one.

The food was delicious, there are 2 reasons Im taking off stars-
The tables were too close together and it felt like we were sitting with the table next to us. The tables were also tiny so we had to put things on the floor in order to have enough room.
The second reason is we got a carbonara. We made it our mission to try as many carbonaras everywhere we go. Here, was DEFINITELY not anything similar to Carbonara. It was a very saucy alfredo with bacon. Carbonara is not meant to be with cream, and even when it is with cream they put a little bit. Dont get me wrong, it was delicious, but definitely not Carbonara.
We also got the meaty pizza, which was very flavourless. Wouldnt recommend ordering pizza here.
The portions were big for the price and both me and my husband were very full.

Beautiful decor everywhere. I really enjoyed all the little touches.

Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. Just dont come for the Carbonara.

The pizza - I would skip.
The pasta is not home made, but shipped from Italy. Yet, it was my favorite dish out of everything.
I took one with beef and cream, and enjoyed it way more than i thought.

But I will not go back there anytime soon..

So, I don't know how to explain how satisfied I am with this family business. This is an old school style Italian restaurant. Here, you meet the owner, and he will serve you with passion. High-quality products and wine ! Great design, which reminds you of old style Italian restaurants. We were here big group and all of us are satisfied with their meals.

Fantastic food with such great wait staff! Had the Brumble 54 and sidecar, awesome drinks. The food was so good I went back a second night! One of the best places in Tel Aviv.

Probably the best pasta dish I've had in years.
I had the Pappardelle with a beautiful sauce. I was drawn in by the leaks in the sauce and in fact everything was just great.

I visit here for the first time, i looked on google … i regreted. We took a risotto but it wasn’t a risotto more like a riz children boiled… and i have so much salt and spicy on my linguini very not appreciated.
We not ta. about, you got not a good portion on the plate. Very sad first and last time here. Do we talk about service ? if you are from here you can have chance and they will be very kind otherwise you will not get the same portion, no water, no service and if you ask advise about the menu they laughed !

First dinner visiting Israel here and I kinda expected more. Some of the dishes were good and some were not. Main server was great, but the people that were bringing out the drinks and food gave off a vibe that we owe them something. I would suggest to close the hole in the middle of the table as we were running out of room and open it when people order the ice buckets.

Hello everyone I want to tell you about yesterday's visit to this restaurant. This is the most disgusting, terrible restaurant in Israel and perhaps even in the world. My wife came, she was invited to the table by a certain Ahmed, who was standing on the host. She waited more than 30 minutes for the waiter to come to her, but no one came. Later, my wife's friend and I came. My wife left, and we decided to finally place an order. There was still no one there, and we decided to ask the same Ahmed on the host if we could make an order? And then it started, he started shouting, waving his arms, at first he started shouting that we had just arrived and we need to wait, we said that my wife had been waiting for more than 30 minutes, he started waving his arms even more, yelling that this was not McDonald's and our place in McDonald's, then he started yelling and accusing us that we were drunk, then he started snatching the menu out of my hands and yelling get out of here, grabing my hands and move towards the exit. I can't justify such behavior with anything, and hardly any self-respecting restaurant will allow itself to do this. As a result, it turned out that this Ahmed is the owner of this institution. And this is even more surprising. This is how only the owner of the garbage can behave, disrespecting not himself, not others. I wish you never to meet Ahmed and this institution. And it all happened in pride week. After that, another person came out, introduced himself as the manager, and the only thing he said was that I didn't see anything, but I apologize for the owner. Are you serious? In general, I strongly advise against visiting this institution and giving money to Ahmed in his pocket. He has no right to behave this way with restaurant customers in the civilized country of Israel and anywhere else in the world.

Classical Italian kitchen at its best in the center of Tel-Aviv.

With great waiters (pretty rare in Israel).

The only thing I would suggest to improve (subjective) is a wine list.
It was pretty short, especially short of local wines.

A nice family centered restaurant. Equipped to host large groups of people. Very expedient service. The staff are welcoming and exact. Comfortable enough prices for what you're getting in return, considering we are in T-A-Jaffa. The food is various and tasty. We ordered fish, 2 kinds of steak, burger, ravioli, grilled chicken breast and some firsts - all were served fast and were pleasing. The place has outdoor and indoor sitting. The outdoor is shaded by umbrellas, but considering it's the shoreline, you will not have any shade there after 12:00 noon. So if you want to eat your food and gaze at the marvelous Mediterranean Sea, better come before that time. The inside is atmospheric, air conditioned and inviting. Mind that families with kids come there, so do not expect it to be quiet. But if you come on weekdays, you'll have less of a chance to encounter families(not included - holidays, weekends, school summer vacation)

Very nice atmosphere and attentive service. Dishes are well prepared with attention to esthetics. Portions are adequate and appetizers are easily shared. However, the price is very expensive for what it is. Paying over 250 shekels per person without drinks is a lot.

Great restaurant right in the heart of Tel Aviv. Very friendly and enthusiastic staff. Food was very tasty. We had the mixed seafood and pasta dishes.

The food was excellent. Very allergy friendly!! My nephew has 5 allergies (peanuts, peas, nuts, sesame, beans) and going to restaurants is very rare with him. Usually ordering only specific dishes with low risk and high alert. Here, the chef is super aware, made him the dishes himself to make sure everything was safe. He could choose from the entire menu. It was very exciting for him and for the family. We had a great experience and will definitely come back for more. Restaurant like these are too rare!

Was with a group over lunch. Excellent business lunch and friendly service. took time to explain the specials and recommendations. the starters were of a good portion that we could share and the mains were WOW....i had the red tuna nicoise. yums! others had beef fillet, various pastas, salmon...and feedback is a resounding thumbs up!

Disappointing. The food was low quality and not fresh - the worst ceviche I've ever seen. The service was unpleasant, I hope they're not mistreated/underpaid bc they looked absolutely miserable! We went to celebrate a birthday, but we decided to end early, skip dessert, and go home. At payment, we were asked how everything was, and they apologized when we said it was bad. Who knows, maybe we came on a bad day? Unfortunately, our birthday dinner was ruined.

The food is great. We went for the vegetarian options, salads and baked veggies with cheese. You order food and get a table, when the order is ready you get up and get it, there is no service at the tables which is actually quite relaxing. The music is nice, great atmosphere

Great big restaurant right near the sea. There are places both outside and inside. My wife and I ordered "Four cheese Ravioli" and "Pasta with chicken breast". It was tasty enough. Prices are about normal for this place. Oh, and we also liked the internal design of the room where we were sitting.

Fantastic Italian restaurant. We tried many dishes, I personally really fell in love with the seafood risotto.

The desserts were top notch! Wonderful!

Wonderful fresh Pizza and pasta dishes. Great location and very friendly staff. No alcohol served but the food and View are worth passing in the drinks.

We have recently dined at Onza and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to recommend dishes and provide great advice throughout the meal. The food itself was truly delicious, with standout dishes including the amazing eggplant starter and the fresh bread. I highly recommend trying the Seafood Hanina, it's definitely worth it.
What's more, if you're an early bird, you can take advantage of the 30% off discount. All in all, my experience at Onza jn was superb and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with great food and exceptional service.

La Repubblica in Tel Aviv is a must-visit Italian restaurant, with exceptional food and service. The menu is crafted from fresh, quality ingredients and offers a diverse range of dishes. While pricey, the upscale experience and impeccable cuisine make it well worth the investment.

We loved service, location, drinks and food.

We had a place at the bar. The barkeeper was an excellent entertainer who served well made cocktails. We even got a great virgin cocktail off-menu.

The dishes might look basic at the first glance but are very refined. We recommend the cauliflower pide and for dessert the knafeh.

Such a great restaurant on the water in Jaffa. Spotless ladies room, clean restaurant surroundings, excellent service, seating both inside & out, & interesting menu that even has a locust dish! I opted for the chicken Caesar salad. It was delicious, with a generous serving of chicken, unique dressing, & came with a side of bread. If it’s a pretty day, you just can’t beat an outside table. I walked over from downtown Tel Aviv, & enjoyed surroundings along the water.

Staffs are much different with another local restaurants. We feel they are very professional and good service.
Of course all foods are very tasty.
I don’t mind even price is expensive if this quality.

TL;DR Good food but nothing exiting

Wanted to go there for a long time since I had nothing but excellent experience with Haim Cohen's food in the past.
Finally I got there with some friends, The place was full, we got a big table and a nice waiter.

The house bread was really really good but everything else was no more than ok.

I ordered the grilled Entrecote the waiter recommended on medium rare.
We asked for medium plus but we got medium rare and tried it but it was too much and we returned it for another round on the grill.
It wasn't good. A few days later I ate at Tosca in petach tikva and the steak there was much much better.

And it's true to all the dishes we got - the food is good but nothing special that can justify the price.

Parking is available in the building parking lot.

The restaurant was busy, even at 8pm when I arrived which was good to see. I ordered the fettuccine carbonara which had goose rather than the traditional pork. There was a lot of goose meat in the bowl which was quite nice. Also they shredded Parmesan from a wheel at the table and placed it on top. I also ordered the Ananas Beach, which is a vodka cocktail mixed with pineapple juice. It was good, but not a ‘must have’. I ended with their tiramisu which came with cream and a shot of espresso. The cake tasted quite good and was enjoyable with the coffee. I would recommend checking this place out if you are in the Dizengoff area looking for Italian food! (They also have a wide array of items on the menu besides Italian food)

Amazing Italian restaurant in tel-aviv. Haven't been to many restaurants in tel-aviv yet, but it's the one i enjoyed the most so far!

Loved this place! The atmosphere, the decor and the food!! The food was excellent!
The only bad thing I can write is that they made a mess with 2 of our orders, which caused me and my friend orders to arrive much later the the rest of us but they apologized and gave us free dessert as compensation. I definitely be coming back!

The pizzas were good. Not bad appetizers. I didn't connect too much to the salads. The tuna steak was prepared correctly. And the tiramisu was very rich with cream, a little dry on coffee or cacao flavor. Overall a good experience, a little expensive.

Very expensive, even when eating the "lunch deal", but as a fine dining experience, I still recommend it -- hear me out.

Food [4/5] is original and of good quality; and its quantity is sufficient (unlike some other posh places that don't give you much).

Drinks [5/5] are delicious, the cocktails are recommended (e.g. their gin & tonic).

Service [5/5] is attentive, and generous, e.g. giving free challah bread to complement the starters.

Vibe [4/5] is solid, not too loud and design is easy on the eyes. However seating arrangement is somewhat tight, can be better set in my opinion.

Overall, a good place to go to celebrate a special event.

I tried only the pizza, and it was a good one, the place is self service , and we got the pizza after 5 min. One of the best pizzas in Petah Tikva!

Very nice Italian restaurant
We recieved a small table near the kichen.
The food was delicious,we had some gluten free options.
The restaurant located in the center, close to Rabin square.
There is parking lot in the area and a bus station.
The dishes were very tasty , Italian menu with a lot of options.
The price was a bit more then average, paid around 100 ils for 2 people.
The clientele were families (with children), couples ,friends .
The atmosphere was like of a crazy italian restaurant, noisy, the waiters was running near us to the kitchen because of the peak hour (probably), the music was nice .
The service was fast, the waiter took the order and served the dishes after 5-10 minutes of waiting.
The things that was not good for me is that the waiters was constantly running to serve the orders, the children that was noisy, the table that was a bit sticky, the crowdness of the restaurant.
In overall the restaurant is good the food is excellent, the design of the restaurant is interesting.
I will probably order from Wolt next time.

In terms of food, it's pretty good - pizza was good, the pasta was okay but it came with almost zero Bolognese, the salads are nice too.

There's no table service, which saves money. It means you have to order and pick your food up from the counter. The other plus is that when you're done eating you can just up and go.

It's a busy family restaurant. Good if you have children. Horrible if you're annoyed by them. It's very loud when busy.

As for the location, it is located in a rather crowded place but if you come in the evening it will be great. I highly recommend.

We got a very bad table, in the aisle next to toilet or some kind of service room. We had to listen to all the talks of the staff going in and out. Also it was very close to there people sitting at the bar, when they started leaving they almost brushed the food from our table.
I believe there shouldn't be such tables in places like this. Really spoiled the impression.
Besides it the food and the service were very good.
But we won't come back.

Gemma is a great restaurant that offers delicious food, friendly service, and a charming atmosphere. If you're looking for a special occasion meal or a romantic dinner, Gemma is a great option. However, it is a bit on the expensive side and can get crowded, especially on weekends.

This place is incredible! 🤩 Gemma is a classic Italian restaurant with a Jaffa-style twist. 🇮🇹 The Italian dishes 🍽️ are delicious 🤤 - the pizza 🍕 is fresh and the pasta 🍝 is absolutely amazing! Definitely try the Artichoke Pizza and the Fungi 🍄 Pappardella. This spot has a great ambience 🎶 and fantastic service. 👨‍🍳 I wish I knew about this place earlier!

Very good food. Delicious and rich in flavours amd not too pricy.
Very good variety to "to please any pallet 🙄".
Generous portions and good table service.
Desert choices were many and great. Highly recommend the tiramisu and the Lemon pie.
Parking in the street is challenging but there are some parking lots (not cheap) not far. We would return.

We had large sharing plates and enjoyed great fish tartar, sirloin radiatori pasta, and green pizza. Of course all the other dishes were great, too!

The best roman pizza joint in town. No meat options but the salmon/basil is great. You can always take your pizza in box, grab a bottle of Moretti and head to the beach. Just don’t throw the leftovers to seagulls! There won’t be any leftovers though)

The vibe in this place is very nice and warm, it is nicely designed.. the food was fine, we took a salad as a starter to share and it was actually the best dish we had in the restaurant. I had a vegan pasta which was nice, full of mushrooms and coconut milk cream sauce, but it lacked a little saltiness and a kick, my partner had a pasta as well which he liked but wasn’t the best he had.. we both had a nice wine and water.. overall the experience was nice and fun, the food was OK but not the best I’ve had.. would recommend as a nice Italian restaurants in Tel-Aviv Yafo..

Action in restaurant and drinks

Good place to eat pizza. Comfortable prices, tasty product, friendly and professional stuf. A lot places to seat and enjoy of the favorite good.

There are many restaurants in this area having been opened and closed recently, but Po Mo looks Life and kicking place with great choice and variety of Italian cuisine, starting from pizzas and finishing with pasta!
All types of Italian ingredients can be found here I guess.
We ordered black pasta with frutti di mare and it was fabulous!
We tried also lamb pasta, and it was great too, dealing with huge pasta tubes filled with lamb meat and surrounded by sweet caramel sauce. That was unusual.
For tots starter we took special focaccia with avocado and tuna - one of the best focaccia I have ever tried.

As for ACCESSIBILITY: There are four stairs to get to the terrace, so you will need help to access to this place on a wheelchair.

Good outdoor seating at the edge of the flea market. The shop inside has a good selection of wine and other dry goods as well as cheese and a small but very nice flower shop.

DELICIOUS pizza. The slices are bigger than they look, but still a little small. The key is the toppings. You gotta try all the wonderful topping combustions.
(Note: not necessarily customizable, though you can ask, but still great)

Very busy informal restaurant serving pizzas by weight. Good selection of tasty pizzas. Hard to get a table when it's busy.

Food was good, but the service was bad. Also hobos kept coming asking for money, not so pleasant

The prices are a bit expensive and the service a tad slow, but the food is worth it. Absolutely delicious! I especially recommend the Polenta starter and the Stroganoff gnocchi!

Italian cuisine, open kitchen, very cool vibe. Serves nice dishes with a lot of selection, the soft vanilla ice cream is the best end to the meal(ask for the chocolate in a different cup)
