Love love love. Such a special studio. Instructors are awesome. Space is warm (literally and figuratively), and welcoming. I just wish they had child minding! I’d be there daily if they did.

Modo North Vancouver is fantastic! I've practiced yoga since 2008 and have been to many hot yoga studios and this facility is by far, the tops! The people working, the changing rooms, and the practice room are all great for me. The only snag is the number of people that they pack into the practice room and how crowded it can get. My workaround is to go at 6:30 am when to room is not so busy.

Very unhappy with their customer service. I was sold class passes with them knowing I only came to the noon community classes. Which then I realized is not worth using the passes for because of cost. I couldn’t come to any early morning or night classes for a year. Now with my passes ending in less than two weeks I was going to take the loss and spend them on the community classes at noon, which they have recently changed to not accept passes for! Unacceptable. I wasted $100 at this studio. Thanks for the communication guys. 4 passes in the garbage. I will never come back

Great place for hot yoga and barre.
The parking situation is very bad, so make sure to come early as not be late for class.
Very expensive too! If I didn’t have work discounts, would never buy a pass there, completely not worth $260 per month! You can get a gym membership with everything included for this price.

Attended the 6:30 am freestyle flow class with Marija and it was excellent. It was a packed class, the energy and environment were great, as was the choice of music and (hot) yoga room. Marija was a great instructor. I went for the drop-in and she was very welcoming. Highly recommend :)

i really wanted to love this studio as it’s so close to where i live, and the schedule is convenient. however i really didn’t like many of modo yoga’s features that probably attract many others: there is zero spirituality. most of the classes follow the same sequence of moves. the teachers come from similar training and have very limited background in teaching compared to other studios.
with that said, the place is well run, many classes scheduled, and the space is clean.
if you want to practice yoga strictly in a hot room, have no interest in the sacred aspects of yoga, prefer improving in one sequence of moves, then give it a try. they have a good intro month rate.

It’s good for “corporate” yoga without much soul. It’s clean, in a great location and has a good class schedule. It’s not a bad studio, but not great either. I think they could easily improve by making some small changes: less strict rules (I.e. the no talking, can’t be a minute late, many classes have no music), fire some of the unspectacular teachers and teach a little more actual yoga (rather than just “exercise”). I come here because it’s convenient for me, not because I love it. The reviews are fantastic so I’m obviously in the minority!
