My Saturday night visit to Beatnik on the River was a delightful experience, thanks to its stunning riverside view. I highly recommend trying the octopus appetizer—it's a standout dish that shouldn't be missed. The service was attentive and pleasant, though I felt the menu could use a bit more variety to cater to diverse tastes. Nonetheless, it's possible that this is simply a matter of personal preference.
Darius was amazing to us, took care of us very well. The whole brunch experience was beyond incredible. Food presentation, flavours & portions are just perfect. Highly recommend it.
I would sell my soul to be able to always have the Saturn drink. Enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks, the food was okay. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to sit and have a few drinks this should definitely be on your must try list! If you need an appetizer I would definitely recommend the beat mutabbal or the octopus&hummus
Came here with one of my friends for restaurant week. The atmosphere is stunning. Drinks are good but pricey (even for a plain drip coffee). Our server was curt, but everyone else was very nice, timely, and professional. The appetizers were very good but we were disappointed by the main courses. My short rib was very dry and tough to chew. My friend ordered a vegetarian dish that was supposed to have cauliflower and tofu, and received half a head of cauliflower and no tofu in sight.
Loved the interior is such an Instagrammable spot!
However, the glass or the cover was so dirty, our table for two was in the terrace!
So our server was so mean and cocky!

Also, they don't get anything from Yelp so the pics of food are outdated
I also asked if they have a cheeseburger and they said they do per request apparently cuz it's not on the menu
Overall besides the dirty windows and the server had a pleasant experience
The food was good and the ambiance/ interior was so cute
We had hummus, and Sioux don't like hummus but it was so nutty creamy, and smooth tasting with pomegranates and nuts that first time I loved it

Nice spot with cool ambience and fun music- not far from lyric city opera house for lunch or brunch, which is why we tried it- great views of the river. I would say staff is super friendly and attentive! They seemed reluctant to sit us without reservations on a Saturday afternoon and 12pm, which seemed weird bc the place looked mostly empty. We got sat in the room of mirrors. Very pretty! Menu is quite limited, and pricey for the options. Lots of drink options and cocktails if that’s what you’re craving! Regular coffee was $8 and a can of coke was $7, that was a bit disappointing! But it is downtown downtown, so inflated prices are expected. The sweet potato hash was delicious, lots of flavor and great texture from the roasted pepitas and red peppers. My friend said her Cuban sandwich was sadly not great- lots of mayo and lacking flavor. Overall, as expected based on other reviews! Glad we tried it
Just phenomenal food and drinks! There was a little a bit of a fly problem while we dined with them but I don’t expect that is normally the state of the restaurant. My friend left her wallet at the place and we were able to recover it hours later with nothing missing. I highly recommended both their brunch and regular menu items. The mango margarita was delicious; it was sweet and spicy! The gelato was fantastic! Great brunch spot!
