Roosevelt Island

Best views for the price.

A must for anyone being in NYC for the first time. Cool view and arriving at a more quiet place to have a nice walk. Be sure to get the Metrocard somewhere else first, like in the subway. Or else you can wait a while.

Its actually fun riding on this Roosevelt Island Tramway and looking at most of the Manhattan Skyline and East River. Its like if I would be inside of a Helicopter with plenty of space and people except that it doesnt speed much like a helicopter does. Way better than the slow and delaying Public Bus. I wished there more of these tramways throughout the other boroughs with neighborhoods that have limited access.

Be careful - Today I was assaulted at 9:50pm by the tram operator operating the route from Manhattan to Roosevelt Island.

The park was ok, the monument was nice. Great views of Manhattan. They offer games to play for kids which was niche. Beware, they don’t accept OMNY on the tramway.
