We really enjoyed visiting here once again. We mainly came for the dinosaur exhibition, which did not disappoint.
I used to regularly visit here as a child, and now, being able to bring my child here makes it so special! The Horniman museum has remained a great asset to Forest Hill.

Visited with a friend on a Friday morning. I found parking on a road at tue rear of the museum there are a few roads where it is possible to park for free.
It was a rainy day so perfect for a museum wander. I hadn't been since 1995 so it was great to look around and immerse myself in its weird and wonderful curiosities. It isn't the biggest museum but there is plenty to see. We got tickets for the Dinosuar evolution exhibit which really well put together with animatronic dinosaurs and artists impressions of what tuey looked like in their day.
Despite being in term time there were a lot of children a class or two from a school I guess. Not a complaint as its great seeing kids interested in history etc but very loud.
The staff were friendly and very informative.

Great place for everyone. Kids, couples, families, etc. So many things to do, see, taste and experience. Amazing day out, worth every moment

Wie in einer anderen Beschreibung wunderbar geschrieben. Ein Museum,welches man nicht zuordnen kann. Das Schmetterlings Haus war für mich das Highlight. Bezaubernd! Es ist ein Ausflug wert...bewertet es selber! Toller Ausblick im Park. Aquarium interessant. Schmetterlings Haus und Aquarium sind allerdings nicht kostenlos.
Had a lovely time visiting Horniman. We went to the cafe, aquarium, and walked through the park. It was midweek term time but worth noting the cafe was still heaving with lots of parents with young kids.
The aquarium is small but fun and great for babies.
There was a fair amount of maintenance work being done in the garden but still nice to walk through.
