A fun indoor zoo activity. Lots of great plants and animals to see, and always perfect weather.
There is an upper and a lower level, each with its own set of animals. They are connected by a tree that hides a circular staircase within its trunk. There is also an elevator.

We took our family to the cleveland zoo. This was a group outing. It was very, very nice. Be prepared to do a lot of walking! You can also reserve a scooter 4 about $ 32.00. Some of us hadn't been to the zoo in years! We were able to visit the rain forest it was beautiful, but the pathway was a bit small. I think it's time to refurbish.
Surprisingly big inside, there's a cool spiral staircase or an elevator the you can go up/down. Upstairs the birds get to fly around everywhere, I thought that was nice, lots of cool animals there and I love all the greenery everywhere. It's handicap accessible as well. Also have a nice food court with an outdoor dining area. Overall a nice place and will be returning.
The Rainforest at Cleveland Zoo. It's a lovely recreation of an Amazon rainforest complete with wildlife and vegetation. It even has a pool where it "rains" every few minutes and creates a fog like steam that rolls off the water and rises into the air. We were able to walk through the open aviary where birds can and do decide to make you a landing post sometimes! Also got to see a myriad of monkies and marsupials, snakes and bugs and bats. It's a two story experience so bring your hiking shoes or ride the elevator.
