This is a great park that I'm sad I didn't know about until recently. Nice loop trails, good wildflowers and sunshine. They have a fishing pier
It's a beautiful scenery but not very good for fishing. Photographers coming on to the fishing pier and playing music loudly to take engagement photos. People bringing their barking dogs onto the pier while People are fishing. If you're not trying to fish I'd say 5 stars. If you are trying to wet a line then 2 stars.
Beautiful, peaceful stroll along Thomas Lake. I cannot wait to return this summer when the trees are fully developed and green once again. I saw several dogs on this well paved path. I also saw one bird watcher and a cyclist. The Canadian geese were plentiful but tread lightly around them they tend to be territorial. I viewed a boat launch and will be taking my kayak to this gorgeous lake.
Very-very nice lake park. Many trails to walk along. Nice fishing 🎣 dock. Wonderful pavilions with picnic tables and cooking areas. Cool large fire ring by the pavilions. Very nice restrooms, probably the nicest in any park I have been in lately.
Another beautiful park in the Eagan, MN area! Perfectly paved trails that work around the lake and a few ponds, the prairie area, and also some woods. There is a fire pit and shelter that can be rented out, and in the summer also kayaks and canoes. Great place for walking the dog, biking, bird watching, and more!
It was a fun hike, they have a nice area for fishing, good place to walk with not long but it's fun. I love those several wooden benches along the way. You can rest a little or enjoy the area if you want to slow down. I can not wait till it gets a little warmer so we could sit there longer. You can bring along with your dogs.
The paths are plowed during winter so it's great for taking my dog for a walk. It can get icy so use caution in those areas. Spring and fall are wonderful at this park. During summer the lake gets a bit too stinky for me so we usually visit other parks.
Very good park to walk at peace Environments! Beautiful view with cycling and walking trails which is connected to Lebanon hills park, Jensen park trails at North side. You will see deers at the park if you get lucky! It has restrooms, two picnic shelters, volleyball court, chairs etc. I am loving this place!
