DPD Luxembourg Depot

Most inefficient delivery service. They don’t show up, they pretend that they attempted to deliver, but they don’t leave any notice that would “back up their story”. I have a parcel for more than 8 days with them, I’ve called the costumer service many times, but it’s useless.
There are no excuses suitable here, every other delivery company manages to deliver in my house, but DPD has always a shady behavior, they never show at your door, but they send email saying that they were there.
If you are a e-commerce company, avoid this delivery company at all costs, because you will lose clients!
I do not order from e-commerces that use DPD any longer.

They simply send completely wrong information. Drove 2 times to a pick-up quite far away and they never received a package. Personnel at the pick-up point very unfriendly.

Worst possible service.
Driver was rude on the telephone and didn’t do job properly. Went to the depot 3 times because I was “outside pickup hours” (great idea btw to make pickup time during normal business hours when I most of the time work. When I actually made it inside the guy at reception told me i might not be able to pickup my parcel for whatever reason that wasn’t my fault.
Never choosing their service ever again.

This is my fourth experience with DPD, and each time it only gets worse.

Every time they tell me that my address is incorrect and hence the delivery person couldn’t reach on the promised date. However the address is 100% correct and it’s in the middle of Luxembourg city…
On top of it, no one picks up the phone in their call centers. Their website doesn’t work, nor their app.

This time it was a really important parcel that had a time constraint on it, which unsurprisingly didn’t arrive in time of my need. I’m disappointed.

I hope someone at DPD or Partnering companies is taking account of all these reviews and doing something to course correct.

Clearly, as they aren't accountable to the receivers of goods, the market forces that would otherwise lead to people just not using them cannot act properly. So they see no need to provide any level of service to receivers - as the senders are paying the bills. I'm getting to the point where, if it's DPD, I just let them faff around and return the items to the seller, rather than waste my time dealing with them. It was same with DPD Ireland when I lived there for a bit.

Here are the details of this particular DPD related problem:

They don't deliver to Packup, so their delivery is a problem in all instances. After their standard non-delivery, my parcel then waited a week at their depot with no notification. I checked Etsy and discovered this fact. I contacted DPD online, asking to collect the parcel from the depot, and received a bizarrely off topic email that my address was incorrect.

I called them and where do I start with this messed up affair?: I pressed the English option and, after a very long wait was answered in French. I explained that I wanted to pick it up from the depot and the operative told me that my address was incorrect and she needed to verify it for re-delivery. After a few minutes of failing to listen to anything I was saying, she seemed to cotton on to the fact that I wanted to collect it. This apparently entails an email being sent to me allocating a date and time to collect. I explained that, if I could not come today, it would be better to have it delivered to my home address instead. I tried to confirm whether this was possible and was informed "yes, you can collect it from depot". Upon pressing, I just kept on getting the same illogical answer to this question, rephrased in a different manner.

Bizarre. It's like a negative and deeply depressing Alice in Wonderland.

So I really hope someone reflects on these reviews! It is the worst courier service I’ve ever seen! Every time when ordering something I get stressed when seeing DPD service as I know it will be a hassle! They are lying that nobody was home or say that parcel was delivered when it was not! I got paper with nothing on it! Where my parcel is, when I can take it!!! Nothing!!! This service should be really reviewed by someone or completely shut down!!! It is horrible what they doing with people’s parcels (by the comments it’s alot!)!

Same as all the reviews, DPD is the worst service I've ever seen.
I don't know how a company with such a rubbish service can be allowed to operate in Luxembourg.
Every single time I receive a parcel through DPD it is a hassle to collect, they lie about coming to home and no one answer, or the address is incorrect or the location refuse to take the parcel, every time is a new excuse for the horrible service.

And the reviews speak for itself , I've never seen a company with 1 star on Google!!!

For the third time I'm not able to get my package for more than 5 days of delay and no one can help, and the manager is always absent. LOL
