La Farola de Orellana

If you want a seat be waiting outside when they open. Within 15 minutes it will be packed with people standing. Good selection of tapas at fair prices. Lots of tourists but doesn't have a touristy feel.

Fight for your spot at the bar to be rewarded with some of the most delicious tapas in Malaga! The beef cheeks, callos, lamb skewer, and prawn skewer were all excellent. The service was extremely attentive and competent for how chaotic the restaurant can get.

Small tapas place with very limited seating. Definitely worth visiting, although will be hard to sit unless you're lucky or wait outside for it to open. Large selection of tapas - all that we tried were great, with the ox cheek and the callos standing out. Normal prices, friendly staff.

This bar deserves more than 5 stars as the food and service by the waiters are top notch. We specially enjoyed the wines, potatoes in spicy sauce, iberico ham, eggplant and cheese pinchito, and champiñones.

Decided to pop in for a glass of wine and some tapa after walking passed and seeing it wasn't too busy (not something I'd normally do in Malaga)
Sat at the bar looking at all of the incredible seafood.
The white wine was delicious and very cold which was appreciated.
For food the pinchitos were excellent, loved the Langoustine and Jamón one, as well as the lamb one.
Had a few delicious mini scallops too, bathed in a garlic butter, luckily I had plenty of bread for dipping.
Service was friendly and there were English menús available for those who need them.

Vibrant atmosphere, busy, people queuing by the door before the place even opened. The service is great, I don't know how they keep track of orders but my bill came out perfect.
Then we get to the food. I just wish I had a bigger stomach to try more things or someone to share more tapas with. Truly outstanding and authentic food. No wonder this place is a gem mid touristy area. Lots of well informed tourists but lots of locals as well. I'd definitely come back there!
