Farabuto

Small portion size, food is okay, service could be better, you don't even get enough bread. The lights were super dim and chairs extremely uncomfortable. Considering the complete package, it is overpriced as many restaurants will provide a better experience around the town for the same price.

Tasty food. A little longer wait. The cold seafood dish for appetizer was excellent with various flavors on one plate. The monkfish on spinach was nice, as were the shrimps on the red sauce, but you get 5 shrimps for 35 euros. The food could be a little more generous for the prices. Appetizer, main course and drinks for 2 people cost around 110 euros.

This place is very recommended! Must order the fish and chips and the truffle scallops. The staff were amazing and very friendly and accommodating

Einmal mehr waren wir im Farabuto und wurden sehr herzlich Empfangen. Ein sehr aufmerksames Personal. Das Essen war absolut top und wir können es nur empfehlen. Als Vorspeise hatten wir die Variante Fisch gewählt. Sehr gute Häppchen und eine tolle Präsentation. Zusätzlich haben wir das Rinds Carpaccio bestellt. Welches uns auf Wunsch serviert worden ist. Die Hauptspeisen waren gefüllte Calamari, Jakobsmuschel mit Trüffelsauce, Rib-Eye-Steak und gefüllte Ravioli. Als Abschluss eine feine Kombination von Schokoladenmousse und Trüffeleis. Der Cheesecake hatte auch noch Platz. Wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Wir werden wieder kommen. Herzlichen Dank für diesen wunderschönen Abend.

Grear experience if you'd like to visit a restaurant closer to the residential area of Pula. We had ordered the octopus stew, the tomato soup, the fried fish with potato salad and 4 glasses of wine. In addition to that they brought us free homemade bread. The bread was brilliant, warm and very tasty. The wine was extremely cheap and also really good! The food was not cheap. The service was excellent. Would probably revisit for their bread and wine.

The place is extremely quiet and cozy, the atmosphere is very relaxed elegant and informal at the same time.
The menu is short enough to ensure high quality food, but wide enough to allow the customers to choose between a solid variety of dishes.
Our waiter spoke both in English and Italian, we appreciated it. She also explained perfectly the dishes when brought to the table.
Home made bread was a nice surprise too.
We came here to eat fish, we ate fish and we were happy about it.
85€ in three people, amazing price-quality ratio. We also ordered the cheesecake, honestly it wasn't great, but that does not ruin an amazing dinner.

Almost too good to be true. The friendly, knowlegeable and attentive service, the attention the chef is paying to all the little details, the fantastic Croatian wine menu ... Every single dish we had here was cooked to perfection: Seafood, local lamb, pasta, the delicious sweets - WOW!

Of course we visited the "crook" ("Farabuto" in Italian) more than once. So happy I could celebrate my birthday here - looking forward to our next visit. Definitely on my all-time top ten list.
