An amazing, beautifully restored Dutch town house from 1715. The atmosphere and interiors were superb. Absolutely stunning. The kids loved the huge dollhouse version of the house itself, recreating every room in great detail. The films on how the house was restored to its original glory were also great to watch. 10 out of 10 for a genuine slice of 18th century Dutch architecture and interior design. Staff was very friendly and helpful too.

The space is well-kept and offers an immersive experience that truly transports you back in time.What I appreciated most about the museum was its unique blend of art and science. You'll find everything from rare fossils to intricate scientific instruments, all displayed alongside stunning paintings and sculptures. This combination makes for a truly unique and enriching experience.

Mooi origineel oud huis met karakteristieke details.

Zeer fraai gebouw. Leuk om te zien hoe Teyler leefde. Eigenlijk tweemaal. Ook nog eens in een poppenhuis.

Bezocht via Teylers Museum. Fraai pand met de nodige historie.

Zo te zien is het huis zoveel mogelijk in de oorspronkelijke staat teruggebracht. Daarmee is het een toepasselijke aanvulling op het even oorspronkelijke eigenlijke Teylers museum. De routing naar het huis zou alleen nog wel iets duidelijker aangegeven kunnen worden, we ontdekte nu toevallig dat dit via een zijgang was.
It appears that the house has been restored to its original state as much as possible. This makes it an appropriate addition to the equally authentic proper Teylers museum. The routing to the house could only be indicated a little more clearly, we discovered by chance that this was via a side corridor.
