This is a public response to Jules
I am sorry Jules but my books are closed. My website and our booking sustem will confirm this. I cannot take on more patients currently. However when, and if, I can recruit another doctor we will open again to families as we are a family medicine practice. Perhaps your own doctor can look after your Mother. I love caring for older people and I love the challenge of the complicated medical problems they might have. However there is a finite number of patients I can take on in order that I can provide adequate care for everyone. This is not a financially driven matter it is a healthcare matter. Especially at this stage in my professional career and always - its care, NOT $$$ that drives me.
Jules we have never met and it deeply upsets me that you jump to conclusions that are simply not true and place it out there for others to read.

84 year old patient seeking a new GP…

I very much doubt that an 84 year old is going to take her entire family to a new Doctor / practice!

You can’t please everyone so I’m glad some people are staying away from our wonderful Dr Billie. She has saved my life with her persistence and commitment to finding the problem. She had never given up on my daughters mental health, has been mediator with us and my ex partner, done basic procedures rather than me ho to hospital and visited me in hospital. Her staff are most caring and helpful though so busy.
So you may wait a while at times but Dr Billie is worth it…. Like I said, stay away, she’s mine!

I have been seeing Billie for more than 10 years now at this and other previous practices. She’s always been great with me and my family, and picked up my coeliac diagnosis early years ago. I’ve referred a couple of others who have found her good too. She is sometimes running late but I now call ahead to check on this beforehand- and I don’t mind that she charges- I guess if you’re in demand then that speaks for itself.
This medical centre. The worst and the rudeness I have ever experienced!! And racist!!
I booked appointment for the vaccine at the beginning they never asked me if I have Medicare or Private health insurance.
I went there this morning. And the receptionist said I couldn’t get the vaccine because I have a private health insurance. The lady wearing a glasses with dark hair came to see me, and telling me that they cannot give me the vaccine. With humble myself and asked her why, she just respond they cannot.
I told her I don’t understand when the government forcing people to get vaccinated.
And her response was (with her armed crossed ) “Who are you?” In front of other people. I was shocked the way she asked me this question.
I never been treated like this before. Whoever the lady who’s in charge and so rude to me.
By how you treated people is showing how the person you are. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE RUDE!! This is absolutely how you carry yourself, you present yourself to others and that’s disgusting!! Your rudeness and arrogant is another level!! I hope you have peace!!
And after I read some reviews from others no wonder, many people had bad experience too. I should check the review before even to think to make an appointment with this medical centre/GP. Yes I agree what other people said “Stay away from this place” many GP way much better and will treat you good rather than this place.and respect you the way who you are.

Covid vaccination. The receptionists were lovely despite being overwhelmed with constant calls and walk ins for the vaccine. I understand some of the negative reviews by other people as I will admit the Drs’ demeanors were not warm and cuddly. That being said the dr who gave me both my shots was, I believe, Dr Law and I had no issues. She was no nonsense and focused on the job at hand. It was a pretty efficient set up and I commend the Drs there working so hard to do their part during the pandemic. They deserve recognition for doing their part.

Dr Billie Whiteson is the most thorough and caring GP I have come across. I trust her with the most important medical issues for my family. She has taken time to help me diagnose autoimmune issues when other doctors including specialists failed me. She is proactive in reminding you to get regular breast/skin checks etc, and always refers to appropriate specialists. We travel quite a way to see her but it is worth it, knowing she will provide the ultimate care for me and my children. There are many GPs out there who are only good for a quick prescription, she is not one of them. And her service can be booked via Health Engine app which is super convenient.
