Huntsville Hospital

From the ER to my short stay in the hospital the doctors and nurses were so friendly and professional. They kept me informed on what was going on as far as test and medication. The nurses are first rate they are so knowledgeable and helpful and they take pride in their job. They go the extra mile to explain the different medicines and procedures.

I was at Huntsville Hospital for a heart catherization by Dr. Chen. From the check-in to dismissal the experience was professional and was pleasant. The techs and nurses were compassionate and professional. I was delayed because of an emergency. When I had not been seen in a period of time the nurse checked to see what the situation was. She found out another patient was actually having a heart attack and that delayed Dr. Chen in which I understood. My husband and I were updated. The nurse and or techs made sure I was comfortable and offered warmed blankets. I was there from 6AM until 2PM. I was even served lunch after the procedure. That was a pleasant surprise. William was compassionate and had a pleasant humorous personality. He kept us smiling. That helped me because I had never had this procedure done before. It provided a certain ease. Dr. Chen came in to verify information he received on what I was allergic to and he left out with accurate information therefore he knew how to proceed. After the procedure he gave my husband and I a clear explanation of what the test revealed and what course of action should be taken going forward. I would like to thank the hospital staff and Dr. Chen for their excellent care.

The staff in the endoscopy suite were very professional and friendly. They had compassion and senses of humor, too.

They made sure I was comfortable with extra blankets and provided the utmost care

I was taken to the procedure room earlier than expected, so I would say they were also efficient.

The facilities were clean.

Dr. Karne has excellent bedside manner and skill. I’ve never had a problem with any procedure he’s performed on me. However, we did have to reschedule a couple of times due to scheduling conflicts, and that can be a little frustrating; it also shows how much I trust him if I’m willing to wait on him.

This was my first extended stay at HH and it was so relieving to be treated and cared for by such an awesome group! Everyone was just great! Nurses, Doctors, techs, the ladies that delivered meals and even the cleaning ladies was incredible. Better than any hotel I’ve stayed at! I have zero complaints and know it was a group effort for everyone to have such well functioning system.

My experience was wonderful beginning to end. Put the ER team through their paces with heart issues. The team on the 3rd floor did a great job keeping me comfortable, well informed and were on top of every event. What a blessing they were. Have a pacemaker now and all went well also.

I absolutely love this hospital, everyone was so friendly and extremely efficient. Dr. Banks is amazing and goes over and above with his ability and made me feel totally confident with him doing my surgery. It is over an hour away from my home and worth every minute of the ride. I was in the cardiac unit. I was impressed with all staff and the professional way everything was handled. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, organized and accommodating to my needs. Over all it was a good experience and I'm thankful to have been there among caring people. It was a night and day difference from the procedure I had 11 years ago in another state. They have renewed my faith in hospitals and doctors, and that I don't need to dread and put off what needs to be done in the future. I will always recommend this hospital with such personable, qualified doctors and staff.

My experience at Huntsville Hospital was amazing. The doctors and nurses were very hospitable. They communicated very clearly about my procedure and the expectations of each step. The RN who took care of me during recovery left me with a thoughtful card enclosed in my folder of instructions. Who could ask for any better treatment than what was offered to me at Huntsville Hospital! I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone who’s in need.
