Decent size parking lot. Was clean and had lots of available. Spaces. Did go before opening season.

Free parking

Lots of parking there and is pretty close to the visitors center. 700 ft from the visitors center by following the boardwalk entrance to the trail but also an option to go straight to the trail at the top portion of the parking lot. Parking before 9 AM should have lots of spots left to park.

Thank you NPS. Bring our history alive.

Nice place for a picnic breakfast or lunch if you're out for a drive or a ride on rt 2A. There are picnic tables. There are walking paths too...

So much history to take in!

April, 2021. Although there are no formal programs like re-enactor, or rangers to provide guided tours due to COVID restrictions, the area is clean, well cared-for and the Ranger outside answered all our questions. I am doing my own homework about the Battle Road and I am very excited to walk the trail.
