Had my first IUD (mirena) inserted here and the experience was amazing! Not to discredit anyone elses experience, but I was able to make appointments on my forst call and the receptionist was very nice to me. I had a phone consultation appointment where I got to learn and discuss all of my options, and got the prescription. I picked up the prescription at a pharmacy near me and I went for the appointment today.

Nurse Kristen was so welcoming and explained everything thoroughly. She walked me through the procedure the whole time, making me feel comfortable and making sure I was breathing throughout. I was also given a hot water bottle, and the option of numbing if I wanted it.

I was also given juice by staff when I was feeling dizzy, and they made sure I was doing okay. I would definitely reccomend going here for IUD insertion. Like other said, the procedure is definitely painful, but at this clinic they did their absolute best to make it a good experience.

I had appointment for remove Nexplanon. The waiting time around 20-30 minutes ( with is normal). Thanks to Rio and Susannah for taking good care of me.

With 5 years living in Canada this was the first time I was so poorly attended by a receptionist. On the morning of February 06th at 10am specifically, the receptionist was extremely rude and snobb with me. She received the call as if she were on a shift for more than 24 hours nonstop- and the clinic had opened 30 minutes ago. I felt like I was forcing her to work and that I did something very wrong in calling there. This clinic deals with serious and very delicate things, it should not have a receptionist who does not know how to communicate with the patient properly.

Had my 2nd iud inserted here, they offer numbing, painkillers, a hot water bottle and go above and beyond to make sure you understand what is happening during the procedure. Non-intimidating environment focused on your comfort & health, can’t recommend more

I had a glowing experience with one of the nurse practitioners, Kristin today, which is my reason for wanting to leave a review.

I wanted to highlight the quality of care I received from Kristin, specifically during my over the phone consultation.

As this was my first time seeking out birth control, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from the process going in.

With that said, during my phone consultation regarding various birth control methods, Kristin was wonderful throughout—I cannot praise the level of service I received enough.

Kristin was extremely kind and empathetic, thorough, and she happily answered all of my questions and concerns I had.

I brought a ton of questions regarding birth control to ask her about during the consult and she happily accommodated all of my (and they were many) questions.

Not once did I feel rushed throughout the duration of my phone consultation.

Previously in the past with healthcare practitioners, I’ve struggled to vocalize and be listened to regarding my concerns, adversely impacting and delaying much need medical care. So it was refreshing to find that that was not the case today.

I feel much more confident about pursuing the various options available to me regarding my healthcare going forward, and that’s all thanks to the wonderful service I received today, courtesy of Kristin.

If more women’s healthcare practitioners and providers were like Kristin and the quality of care I received today, I genuinely believe we would be in a much better place and fewer women would needlessly suffer.

I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had with Planned Parenthood today. Thank you again Kristin.

It was an amazing experience. They were so supportive and took the time to explain everything to me. They made me feels very comfortable and relaxed. It was a much better experience than the women's college hospital where they laughed at me and called me very rude names. I would definitely recommend that anyone go to Planned Parenthood if they have any concerns and they will help and make you feel very at ease.

Very unprofessional. They have rescheduled my appointment four times already, claiming that the clinicians scheduled for my appointment called in sick each time. They only inform me a few hours before the appointment. The first time they told me my appointment was canceled, they called me just 30 minutes before the scheduled time. And today is the fourth time. Why are your clinicians always sick at the time of my appointment? I would not recommend their service. Awful and frustrating.
