At Acaraki, I immersed in a delightful exploration. The bartender unveiled the modernization of "jamu," infusing it with a playful twist. Witnessing creativity unfold was a captivating ode to the art of innovation.

Had a chance to experience a ‘brewing’ session, if it’s called ‘brew’ for jamu, by their jamu maker on Walkindies tour package. They give us a shot of Jaman Batu and Golden Sparkling. Both are really fresh after a tired walk for about 3 hours.

Beautiful place and its targeting niche market since many people are boring with coffee and tea. Located in the heart of historical area, a Batavia old city, this place really interesting and would come back to try another menu 🍹

Acaraki, nestled in the historic Kota Tua Jakarta, beautifully captures the essence of Indonesian classic culture. The ambience is cozy, creating a perfect setting for an authentic Jamu experience. While I personally felt the Beras Kencur could be stronger, I appreciate the effort to cater to Jamu first-timers. The menu offers a great variety of Jamu mixes, making it an ideal place to explore and savor different flavors. Overall, Acaraki provides a genuine taste of Indonesia’s traditional remedies in a charming setting.

We had two sets of food, because we enjoyed the healthy drink and the ambience a lot.
We ordered golden sparkling, golden yoghurt (kunyit asam yoghurt) , saranti ice (beras Kencur) golden turmeric mouse cake, vanila twilight (ice cream) and tape rolls. My favorites were the golden yoghurt and the cake. The service was also good. There was a toilet outside the cafe that the waitress will give you a free entry card to the toilet (otherwise you must pay).

For me, this is one of unexpectedly good places around Kota Tua. Chill and cozy ambiance will be found in this place. The fusion of jamu and some of nowadays ingredients is so genius. The Golden Yoghurt must be tried.

Nice place, interesting presentation on history of jamu at the bar. Fusion drink with a bit of jamu taste, not really for herbal medicines.

Chicken curry is exceptional! A pleasant dining experience with excellent and friendly service. Salah satu highlight terbaik di Kota Tua Jakarta. Worth to try. Especially with its special desserts: Turmeric Mousse Cake.
