Great community of artisits. Amazing art is being made here. Definately think about getting a studio here or coming join one of these amazing people in making art.

Great Artist studios. They have Open Studio twice a year.

Alexandra Rozenman was born to be a teacher-- inspiring, very smart & funny in a good way. She knows her art in depth. The atmosphere among the students is lively, friendly and you learn at your own pace. It took me a while to start painting-- my work is very analytical and my soul really needed some balance. I wish I had done it sooner-- I feel recharged and full of ideas. Her studio is also in a conducive place, a converted charming old building in a quiet area in Somerville. Plenty of a parking (a must for me). Great experience and I´ll be signing up for more.

Art School 99, located in the Joy St Studios, is the place to go if you want or need professional instruction in learning to paint. Alexandra offers personal guidence, motivation and encouragement for newcomers as well as guidence for long time painters.

I'm not sure whether I can afford one of the studios, but it's a great Boston location. Walking through the hallways and looking at a couple of the studios that were open I saw that there were a very large number of serious artists working everyday. 24/7 access and security monitoring make it more attractive to me because of the odd hours I work. Christine, one of the managers, was awesome. Warm and helpful.
