The Lantern

Bouncers must have been bounced in their heads as kiddos. I’m 74 and in a wheelchair and bounced told me my ID was fake and stole it like a skid. Had to get my wife out of bed in long term care to come give him a whoopin.

Bouncer was super rude to me and my girlfriend, food was amazing buy I wouldn't go again.

Great bar/restaurant, new owners have done a great job keeping the history and atmosphere the same. It’s sad that people who don’t have the history post negative reviews not even setting a foot in the Lantern.

The Lantern is my favorite bar in Naperville! I have had the best times here. Whether it is on Tuesday nights for karaoke, or Wednesday’s for trivia! There is never a dull moment at The Lantern. Especially on the weekends, this place is lively and welcoming to all. I will come back here every weekend! Even the food is awesome! This place is a 13/10.

This is the best bar in downtown Naperville! Very attentive staff, amazing food (might be the best burger in the area) and continuous cold drinks. A highly recommended visit when in town!

Love the place, I leave not far from it, but it seems like bartender are either too busy or playing around, because customers pay for a drink and should get what they paid for. They should have to ask for the drink to be remade … a vodka Tonic is a vodka tonic not a tonic tonic tonic. We’re drunk, we’re very much sober trying to have fun so don’t cheat us please.

So much fun!!! I come here every time I’m in town and always have a blast. Last time I came on trivia night and this trip, karaoke Tuesday. Shaun is amazing but the crowd here also makes it fun. Thanks for a great time!
