This is an amazing paved trail that starts near Ballenger Creek Park (Ballenger Creek Pike) and concludes in Westview near Buckeystown Pike. The trail does not have lights so use during daylight hours. There are some blind curves so be cautious if biking. The Parks Department keeps the trail well maintained and mowed along the sides.

A nice little trail. Parking area only has a few spots, so sometimes you can't park exactly there.

About 3 miles of wide paved rolling trail (not counting the side walks along Bellenger Creek Rd). I hope they continue along the creek to the park. Nice tree canopy on the Eastern side. Still very open on the western side. Some nice bridges. Even has a bike work station. Great for walking, running and easy bike rides.

This is a nice, double wide trail through a residential area. The trail technically starts at Ballenger Creek park, at mile 0 marker. There are a multitude of places to pick up the trail, but public access (not at an existing residential community) is located at Ballenger Creek park (mile marker 0) or the small car park located off of Corporate Drive/New Design Road (mile marker 4-ish).
The trail is rather flat.
There is a major road (Ballenger Creek Pike) that you mist cross immediately as you approach (or depart) Ballenger Creek Park. The actual creek trail is located 800m away from Ballenger Creek Park. The remainder of the trail winds along the creek. A full out and back will give you about 9.5 miles.

Very nice trail, well maintained. Lots of shady areas for an enjoyable walk or ride. The bike repair center at the parking lot was a very nice addition if you have problems while you're biking.

10 foot wide macadam trail lined with trees and perfect for biking or walking. We saw deer along the path and there were a handful of spots to stop at the creek. Parking around Corporate is very limited.

We are big fans of this 4.2 mile completed section of trail, and look forward to the next phase of completion under construction up to the Ballenger Creek Park. It's paved, 10 feet wide, nearly flat, often shaded, and very peaceful, following along the meandering Ballenger Creek. We recently moved to the Westview South neighborhood, and the trail is visible from our home. We use it all the time to bike or walk over to the Westview Promenade, or to exercise on the trail and surrounding areas. It's beautifully done, and a real asset to the area. We're also hopeful the "future phase" from the current dead end not far from Buckeystown Pike will be extended.
*UPDATE* the trail is now completed (at least as far as the currently planned phases), and connects all the way from near Rt. 85 behind the "Home2 Suites by Hilton Frederick" (across from Sheetz) all the way up to Ballenger Creek Pike near Tuscarora High School. From there it's a short, easy ride over to the Ballenger Creek Park for even more trails and activities.
