The food disappointed me. The pancakes felt too dry and not fluffy enough (probably more eggs are needed), but maybe it is a choice. There were pieces of eggshell in the cake.

The coffee was bad. I could not finish the coffee, it was really disgusting with horrible aftertaste.

The interior is great, the grandmas are cute. The place feels calm. Maybe you will be luckier if you order a sandwich and some water.

Great chill atmosphere, great pancakes!
The cold coffee was served with sugar water, which was never before suggested or found in japan.
Great prices, has smoking outside to a beautiful side street.
Highly recommend!

They have breakfast menu. The toast was ¥150, and fancy hot dog was ¥200. But it didn’t come with scrambled egg and coffee. The tiny normal coffee was ¥500. I don’t get it...
Caution: They have a bathroom but its quasi Japanese style. So you have to squat when you pee

Lovely little place, the owners are two older ladies willing to help even those who don’t speak Japanese. Delicious food and atmosphere. We had the pancake tower, while they look fluffy they are not soft, the pancakes are harder then most of the ones we have in the USA. The tea and coffee were also really good. The shop is a nice break from the busy streets of Asakusa.

A lovely neighborhood Cafe run by friendly elderly ladies. The pancakes had a home made taste. Note that these are regular pancakes, not "fluffy" ones.
