Good beer very friendly
While visiting friends in Macclesfield we had a few beers here and it has such a friendly atmosphere and pleasant staff, the Guinness was fab 👌 had a lovely afternoon 😀
This is a friendly little pub with a good atmosphere. It was like going back in time. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Enjoyed a good evening quizzing for Breast Cancer charity quiz. Samantha and Simon out did themselves with the buffet. Beer not too bad either.

Great pub with a wonderful atmosphere! Nice and cosy with lots of different small rooms dotted around. Nice outside area at the back too. Staff were really friendly and although we weren't regulars, we were made to feel really welcome. Got chatting to some of the locals and had a brilliant time!
We enjoyed our lunch here immensely. The home cooked Irish Stew was delicious. The lady behind the bar was very welcoming. The chef was very helpful and provided excellent service. Good value. A hidden gem. Highly recommended.
