I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Museum in Pleasanton, California, and it was a delightful experience. Housed in a charming, small building nestled in the heart of Pleasanton's downtown area, the museum is a hidden gem that offers a fascinating glimpse into the rich history of the city and the remarkable individuals who played a pivotal role in its founding.

One of the highlights of my visit was the special exhibition commemorating the 100-year anniversary of Amador Valley High School. The exhibition provided an insightful journey through time, showcasing how the school has left an indelible mark on the community over the past century. It was truly inspiring to see how the school's history intertwined with the growth and development of Pleasanton.

Overall, my visit to the Pleasanton Museum was both informative and enjoyable. It's a testament to the city's commitment to preserving its heritage and sharing it with visitors like myself. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend taking some time to explore this museum and discover the captivating history of Pleasanton, California.

I went on an explore of downtown Pleasanton buildings history. The woman that lead the tour was great. It was a 2 hour tour. After the tour I went into the museum.

It was ok. Elaborate interactive digital maps were super duper fun. I asked for some info though and was told they could help in a few weeks because they are too busy with their new installation. Excuse me? I only wanted a photograph and asked to be pointed in the right direction and I would look for it myself. Wouldn't even let me do that. Plus the front of this place used to be a lovely place to sit in the shade on a hot day and now all of the trees are gone. It's stark.

Nice little free museum. It has one permanent exhibition about the history of Pleasanton and a photo exhibition that apparently always change. Probably not worth a very long trip to visit it, but a no-brainer for people in the Dublin-Pleasanton-Livermore area.

We asked Sarah at Museum on Main to help us with a Scouting adventure with our Cub Scout Den. She responded by getting a local artist to lead our Scouts through the exhibit and through a fun art project. Together they made art both educational and fun. Make sure you visit this Tri-Valley gem.
